So i irrived to a bed. Good start. Anne franks attick would be the ritz compared to this. Tv didn't work, heater didn't work, dispite me being advised to plug it in by the lady on reception. This turned out to not be a problem as she worked out how to put the heating on permanently for the next 2 day. Breakfast on the 1st morning wasn’t something id normally spend 7 quid on as it leaked oil from everywhere, i didn't have a 2nd Breakfast as the other guest sitting with his 4 pint cans of Stella at 0930 having his internal chat with himself put me off a bit. Black mold across the bathroom ceiling and the bath panel hanging off didn't fill the room with much of an element of hope neither did the radiator being held on ny clasps. The hacking coughs of "residential guests" long into the early hours of the morning lead to a nights sleep in the loosest sense of the word. The bed had an aroma that i still cant figure out as ive never smelled anything close to it. Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed.
