« Jandie's was the absolute best rental house we have ever stayed at. The house was clean and well kept, everything felt brand new. The set up was great, open kitchen, dining room and living room and made entertaining very easy. The kids had their own room and enjoyed spending time together in their own space. « Easy walk to town. Enjoyment limited by construction and blasting at both ends of Housatonic. No bedroom on ground floor; steep stairs to bedrooms. Four roomy upstairs bedrooms. Well appointed kitchen. Shana very helpful in addressing minor needs. Window frames need cleaning; some windows on back porch very hard to open. »

« Lovely home next to lake. Many hiking/lake spots within a reasonable drive. Lovely small waterfall along the driveway. Very close to rail trail. Walk to fishing spot as well as good fishing in nearby lakes. As noted in the property description,on/in the lake activities during the summer months are limited by plant growth in the lake. Spent sometime watching the birds on the lake. Dog friendly. Would stay here again. »

« Set in a beautiful secluded, yet convenient location, this home was perfect for our family reunion. The layout of bedrooms gave us each a surprising amount of privacy with lots of places to gather as well. The ping pong table was an added bonus that provided loads of entertainment. The home was clean and spacious, stocked with everything we needed for a week of “a togetherness”. It was a great location to attend concerts at Tanglewood too. »
