"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. "

My wife couldnt have a shower as water too cold, also no warm water to have wash in the bathroom sink. Also could not wash dishes as no hot water in kichen sink. "The location was close to the high street and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions in the Cotswolds. The house was cozy and warm, making it a great choice for a family winter getaway for a few days. However, there were a few minor details that could be improved, such as the TV remote lacking batteries (we had to purchase and replace them ourselves) and the kitchen knives being quite dull, which made them difficult to use. These small points aside, we had an enjoyable stay overall."

"Great stay in clean property with helpful staff. Location isn't too bad as it's only a 10 minute drive into centre of Oxford. Parking bit of a pain as the car park gets very full. Hotel is huge so be prepared to walk a distance to get to your room, only a problem if you are disabled like me. Disabled bays an issue as only 3 available. wasn't impressed with breakfast, it was OK but nothing special. Good facilities and everything you need in your room. We were by the conferences for our stay and their is a funny musty smell in the rooms but this wasn't too strong."
