"My husband and I stayed at Robbin Lodge for a long weekend over the 4th of July. What an amazing experience! We loved how cozy and warm the cottage was decorated and was pleasantly surprised that the owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The cottage had snacks, coffee, muffins for breakfast and even bottled water in the fridge. We were greeted by Robbin when we arrived and she immediately made us feel at home and like part of her family. We had such a wonderful time that we soon forgot about hitting the bourbon trail because we wanted to stay on property as much as possible. We really enjoyed the pool and sitting by the fire at night. Robbin and Russ were the best hosts and we really enjoyed the time we got to spend with them. We arrived as guests but they treated us like family. Everything about our stay was top notch. This lodge is truly a best kept secret. We can't wait to stay here again!"

"Our Bourbon Trail cabin stay was absolutely perfect! The cabin was spotless and super well-equipped, making our trip so easy and enjoyable. We had plenty of room to spread out, and the linens were abundant and fresh. Its convenient location was a huge plus for distillery hopping. Seriously, this place had everything we needed and more. Five stars! The front and back porch were great to sit and listen to the peace and quiet.."

"This property is just as it is described. Bill and Heather have thought about everything and anything you would need while here. It was nice to not have pack every single thing. They provided handsoap, towels, and bags to pickup after out dogs. They had recommendations any time we asked for them. Their responses back were quick and knowledgeable. The property is fully fenced in now (after asking if they could get it done before we visited and they followed through with it and it was done well!). We had absolutely no problems with the property and will be back again to try out some more distilleries. Thank you for an amazing stay!!"

"The front desk clerk at check-in worked with me sooooo well. I had not realized that there were no stairs within this particular location and there for did not request a first floor room. She took my mobility issues into consideration as well as the needs of my traveling companion (she is disabled) and found us a first-floor room. GREAT customer service. She made sure our needs as the guest were fulfilled. While I did not partake in the breakfast, Gina did. Again, the staff was amazingly accommodating and met her every need. "

"We had a group of 14 ranging in age from 8-67. The property was very nice and peaceful. The pool was very clean. Between the pool and the game room, that kept the kids (and adults) well occupied. We would definitely consider staying here again!"

"The hosts were extremely helpful, patient and flexible with our need for truck & trailer parking for our trip--5 stars for that! The 'barn' was excellent with lots of information about how to use the amenities in it. The location was great! Definitely recommend this space and these hosts!!"

"We showed-up and there was no water!!! The city came through the day before replacing water meters on the street and turned off the water. The host/manager were all over it and they had the water turned on in less than an hour.Great job!!! Great stay!!! We'll be back!!!"

"Amazing property! Beautiful old southern manor which has been maintained true to its heritage. We felt privileged to stay in this beautiful home. The surrounding grounds are meticulously cared for and offer a peaceful, beautiful base for a Kentucky Bourbon Trail trip. We were 11 long-time friends (five couples and one single) gathering in Kentucky for three days. The home and carriage house provided ample room for sleeping, cooking and socializing. There are so many positives about this home and property that it would take much more space than allocated to go into detail. Just know that if you choose to book this property for your visit to Kentucky you will not be disappointed. Additionally, if you are like our group, your breath will be taken away by its beauty and charm! An added benefit is the attentive response by the owner, Larry, to any questions or requests you may have. We did not meet Larry, but did reach out a couple of times via text and phone with questions and he responded in a timely manor. Thank you Larry for a wonderful experience!"
