Welcome to the Leavenworth Lookout. This charming historic cabin will have you feeling smitten from the moment you arrive!  Appropriately named this home truly overlooks the glorious Leavenworth Valley enveloped with layers of ridgelines and snow-capped peaks as far as your gaze can handle.  
  
Conveniently located just minutes from downtown Leavenworth this darling domain is tucked between orchards and a hillside and offers unparalleled privacy as it sits comfortably at the end of the road.  
  
Once you set foot inside this cabin you’ll be delighted by the dreamy and thoughtful spaces arranged to encompass family, friends, and beautiful memories. Adorned with forest green finishes and exposed log architecture this patulous space offers room for all members of your group.  
  
Just inside the front door lies a literature lover’s paradise where you can get lost in a book in style. The living space will warm your body with its rustic river rock fireplace and warm your soul with a well-loved piano just begging to be played.  The commanding dining ensemble comfortably seats 10 while the expansive kitchen offers 2 islands making both cooking for your loved ones and dining with them a pleasure. A wrap-around deck offers a delightful place to sip a steaming cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sunrise over the mountains.  
  
The sleeping arrangements are seemingly endless with a comfortable place to curl up around every corner. On the main level, you’ll find a well-appointed queen bedroom with an updated ¾ bathroom close by. Descend the open rail staircase to find 4 more bedrooms: a king with an ensuite, a queen, a cozy twin over full bunk room, and a spacious bunk room with 3 twins and 1 queen. Another full bathroom is located on this lower level as well as a laundry room with double machines! Step outside to access the hot tub to soak in after an adventurous day and enjoy the lookout interrupted only by a towering pine tree.  
  
The privacy of this home will remind you of a simpler time while the convenience of its distance to Leavenworth will satisfy all of your Bavarian wishes. So get back to the basics, play a song, play a game, read a book, and connect with your people at the Leavenworth Lookout!

This driveway has a significant slope. When snow and ice are on the ground, 4WD/AWD vehicles, with good traction tires are necessary. Chains are recommended for all and a must for 2WD vehicles.  
  
The driveway is 0.2 miles uphill with no parking spots below.  
  
Please consider this when deciding to reserve from November through April.  
  
Please be prepared and plan accordingly.  
  
If you are planning to visit during the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons and we hold firm to our cancelation policy.

The cabin is a great place just out of the busyness of town. Quiet retreat for the family. Some maintenance things, but overall was a great place for 9 adults to stay with extra room for more.

#### Family 4th of July Trip

Quiet property, clean cabin, spacious, nice views, not far from town, great for what we needed. Other than the kitchen lacking ideal cooking ware (scratched teflon pans) limited cooking utensils, and minimal supplies (think there was maybe 3 inches of foil on the roll) it was very pleasant and enjoyable space. We saw bears a couple times roaming down into the orchard… be bear aware! Thanks for the hospitality!

#### Pears and bears oh my !

One of our most favorite short getaways ! The home is situated above a pear orchard.. and truly only 5 min from the heart of town but you felt like you were in the mountains .. one afternoon when returning from town there were two bears in the driveway !! So fun for the grandchildren to see !! Of course no one played outside after that but there was more than enough space and fun to be had inside :)

#### Beautiful Log Cabin Escape

We recently stayed at this beautiful log cabin, and it was everything we hoped for in a peaceful getaway. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, with beautiful wood interiors on the upper level that really gave us that authentic, rustic experience. It was the perfect balance of comfort and nature. We had a family of 13 people and we were comfortable. The surrounding area was breathtaking, with scenic views of the pear orchard, various trees, and mountains on the front balcony. We loved how quiet and secluded it felt. The cabin had all the amenities we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfy beds that made us feel right at home. It even had a piano. The hosts were fantastic, very responsive, and provided all the information we needed for a smooth stay. We also appreciated how close we were to the town, reindeer farm, Adventure Park, fish hatchery, Safeway, etc. We also loved seeing all the turkeys, chickens, squirrel's, and white tail deer around the property. Overall, this log cabin offered us an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy the beauty of nature in comfort!

We had a wonderful stay and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the roving flock of turkeys outside. The size and layout of the cabin was perfect for our three families. We enjoyed skiing at Mission Ridge and then relaxing at the cabin afterwards. The views are amazing, the dining room table is large and the living room is very comfortable. We would definitley rent this place again!

#### Biking and running group from Seattle

Awesome private property tucked up on a ridge through an orchard. Amazing mountain views along with bears, deer and wild turkeys. Will definitely book again!
