This cabin was very nice and secluded. Be cautious of the road to get there, its fairly rough the last few miles but it is manageable. Would definitely rent this place again!

Great
The home was very welcoming and warm feeling. The wasps were and issues. The bunk bed in the basement needs to have better support. We loved our view and the seclusion. We wished more atv trails were closer.
If you want to get away from the world and enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place to be. To sit outside and listen to the wind blow through the tress is so relaxing.
I would definitely rent again!

Definitely a hideaway location!
It was very peaceful and 100 yards from possibly the best sunset location I’ve ever been to.

Peaceful Getaway
Beautiful location and wonderful home. Great views and so peaceful, loved the rustic feel.
Beautiful home and property and well maintained. Everything you need for a great stay. As others have said, the road to access the property is rough. We had an SUV and a pickup and are experienced trail drivers. Using a car would be a challenge.

Location is beautiful and couldn't be more peaceful. Wonderful rustic setting and great amenities. However, basement smells so strongly of Moth balls we couldn't use it and the blinds are inadequate and don't keep any light out of the bedrooms. Beautiful nice furniture but $5 blinds from Walmart.

Beautiful property
We loved the property and the privacy. The issues we did have were the directions given, they were confusing and the actual house number was not the same as given. The house was pretty clean, only issue there was cigarette butts outside in the ashtrays that were not discarded, and none in my party are smokers. But all in all we absolutely loved our stay!

Beautiful remote area-lacks maintenance
Upon arrival smelt freshly cleaned. Beautiful home. Lots of space. Daily wild life sightings. Described perfectly. Once unpacking our belongings we noticed bat and mouse droppings in both closets upstairs. Along with a ton a fabric sheets strewn all over under furniture. A lot of dust and cobwebs all over things including the walls. We used the vacuum that was in the house and even after emptying it and cleaning filters out it still wouldn't suck much up. So we used our own traveling one as we didnt really want to have the diseases the droppings can carry. Unfortunately outside wasn't much better. Horrible wasp problem so we couldn't even sit outside during the day to enjoy the peace and tranquility this place can offer. The firepit was rusted through so couldn't even use that in the evenings which was also a bummer because our kids were super pumped for smores.
After day 2 we tidied up where the kids were sleeping and found more mouse droppings in the beds where the kids were sleeping.
It's a beautiful remote home and loved everything it has to offer, but feel it's been deeply neglected cleaning wise and pest control wise. Definitely don't feel the "cleaning fee" was put to use very good. Hope the next guest has a better experience and no visitors in bed with them!

Beautiful Place-lacks maintenance and cleaning
Upon arrival we opened up the house and it smelt super clean. Appearance was beautiful. Lots of space and seating available. As we unpacked we noticed bat feces in the upstairs closets. We also noticed A LOT of dryer sheets(known to keep mice away). There were also dead bugs-not just the bugs they say in their welcome book-but wasps, bees, lady bugs and regular house flies. They were located EVERYWHERE. Everything else was as described on the main floor and upstairs. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked. Downstairs got the odor of mothballs/damp basement as reviewed on in past reviews. However-mice feces were all over the counter tops and in the beds downstairs. We had to wash all bedding down there so it felt clean enough for our kids to sleep down there. But once it was all cleaned up (btw-vacuum cleaner does not suck up much at all-we used one of our own) mouse feces re-appeared every morning. Also-cobwebbs and dust webs all over the walls and in the corners. On to the outside-wasps nests all over in the peaks of the house and we would get a few in the house every day. Could see them come through the screen windows. And our kids were super excited that we would be able to do fires (we follow the fire restrictions and warned them we may not be able to) but the fire pit was rusted out on the bottome so we couldnt even enjoy that. We enjoyed how remote it was, but feel it was not cleaned very well upon arrival and that pest control would be a huge help!
We wanted a place where we could ride our atv's. Went right into Deadwood from the cabin. Lots of trail to ride and beautiful country to see.

Tetro Rock vacation July 2022
This is amazing spot located far away from anyone and anything else. The only recommendations I have are, you definitely need a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. Roads are very minimum maintenance, and have washed out rutted areas. We had a storm during our stay and there can be hail as large as a quarter from what we seen. So make sure your car insurance covers hail damage. I highly recommend that you purchase vacation insurance that covers
