"Pretty poor service-there was a business conference on when we arrived-so no restaurant or cafe and no bar available. The restaurant wasn’t available until 7pm and the bar 5pm. Waited 40 mins after ordering our food and when we complained we were told they had a large bus party in the restaurant. The obvious conclusion from that was the coach party took priority even though we were in the restaurant before them. We had only ordered pizza and french fries. The room was ok but the hotel is situated outside of the town so nowhere to go unless you walk. It is a very long walk to get anywhere/wouldn’t stay again-we only stayed as we were going on a cruise nearby"

"Ok this place was incredible! 14th century frescos, beautiful rooms, Venetian glass chandeliers… it was like going back in time yet with all the amenities like big gorgeous bathroom and AC which was needed. Our room was HUGE with a king bed and nice sitting area. The staff were all SO great, helpful and incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Very close to everything you want to see. Very very clean. I think they need to replace the bed pillows as they were flat and uncomfortable… but I didn’t ask for others and I am sure they would have accommodated me because they were so wonderful."

"Pros: close to city centre, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast. Cons: the room/bed was extremely uncomfortable. We both woke up with tons of back pain, it was like sleeping on a pull out couch. I woke up multiple times in the night as the room was also very hot. The room was very dated, although clean. If rooms get updated, I would recommend. Otherwise, I would not return."

"The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The hallways were quiet at night without any appreciable noise. Some of the staff were very friendly and others were less so. The complimentary breakfast was ok. Their laundry service was very good. The parking was a bit tight in the front of the hotel. Overall, it was a good hotel and definitely one of the better ones in the area."
