The bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs which some may find annoying. Walking distance to downtown, with shops and restaurants just a outside your door. The rental is everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. Plenty of room to cook and entertain. The unit also has a washer dryer which was handy. The living area has a good amount of room to relax. The bathroom is modern. Both bedrooms were good sized. Although we had a bit of a heating issue during our stay. Both bed come with heated blankets. This is a great old house with "old house character". It has a cool old fashioned doorbell & entryway, and creaky stairs, along with super comfy beds, and nicely remodeled kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was well-equipped for us to make our own meals. It was also a nice treat to have an "easy access" parking space right in front of the house. The area is very quiet at night, and we slept well. It is also a very close walk to supermarkets and that fabulous Cataract Gorge. Clare was very available and helpful when I contacted her with questions about the property. The free tiger bus was 2 blocks away, with a Coles just down the street, as well as some delicious cafés, delicatessens, and independent businesses. In short, the location was perfect! The house itself was large, modern and well equipped. It even had good cutting knives which are rare in self-contained apartments. :) The beds were very comfy! We were able to relax and enjoy the space after the day wandering the streets of Launceston.
