"Do not stay here under any circumstances. We weren’t in our room 10 seconds and started to see cockroaches come out and yes, I have pictures to verify it. I asked the hotel for a refund as I was not going to stay there. She said all she could do was offer me another room. We had driven an extremely long way to get to this hotel and immediately left upon arrival. We ended up booking another hotel down the road quite a ways! We are out the money for that night and will do nothing to promote this hotel as you’ve been being close to acceptable. We are well traveled, and I’ve stayed in many countries. We were not opposed to the lack of amenities this hotel offered all we wanted was a place close to the hotel to put her head down. We were not being picky in any way shape or form. When we came back with pictures to show the receptionist, she looked absolutely shocked that there were cockroaches. I am sure it’s not their first rodeo and we will be telling all of our expat friends and groups to avoid this place at all cost."

"The hotel was ok. I was surprised there was no swimming pool. The food was decent but not fantastic. We actually loved the small cafe right across the street from the hotel for late night food and drinks. The room was nice but the TV didn’t work at all and we paid for a suite with a living room but ended up never using it for this reason."

"Arthur was super helpful and accommodating. While the location is extremely remote, my wife and I enjoyed true down time and the small river and flora and fauna of the area. Not to mention the monkeys and a kinkajou that visited us while we sat on the porch. It was truly wonderful."
