"Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. Rooms are clean. Restaurants are good. The use of the paddle boards and kayaks is also a nice perk. The only downside is it seemed like a wedding hotel. There was a wedding every single night we were there so not recommended non-romantic getaways. Fantastic for families."

"Area was very nice. Staff was wonderful and friendly. Has a nice little outside restaurant/ bar with music on property. Pets were welcome everywhere. Pool was very relaxing.We definitely mark this on our map to stay again when visiting."

"I rarely complain about a hotel experience. Check-in was too complicated and we had to drive off property to get checked in. During check check-in, we were told that maintenance was working on our elevator. Our thoughts were that it would be repaired at some point. It was out of service the entire time of our stay, and with us being on the third and fourth floors, lugging fishing gear up and down the stairs was tiresome. Once we got in our unit (4307) the internet was not working. The WiFi name we were told to use was not listed on available networks. Alex, the manager from the check-in office came to our unit and could not correct the problem and said he would work on it and get back to us. He never got back to us. The TV in the second bedroom did not work (no available signal). The blinds in both rooms were not functional. The shower in the hall bathroom did not work properly; the shower head control was jammed. There were no towels in the master bathroom. -----------"

"This was my second time at Gilbert’s but my first time staying there, I have no other word to use besides AMAZING! Genuinely loved the resort & staff so much. Rooms were exactly what they portray online, beautiful and clean. They have a company by the beach where you can rent kayaks and jet skis which was convenient. I will be coming back without a doubt. "The Staff was Great. from my first phone call speaking to Erta before my trip to check in with Jullianna who gave excellent recommendations on expeditions and restaurants to the breakfast staff who prepared a 5 star breakfast buffet with all the fixings. Eggs, sausages, waffles, fruit, muffins etc This is how a hotel should do breakfast. :-) Great relaxing trip."
