"It’s in the middle of the mountains, great for if you want peace. The road to get there is challenging, don’t drive at night, no street lights. Staff was nice, and suitable for overal a mature guests, no children. "

"We stayed here for four nights to explore Carcassonne and environment. Montolieu is a charming artsy village with lovely bookshops and little streets. The place we rented was the first floor of the house with the owners living downstairs. They were extremely friendly people and really going the extra mile to make your stay most comfortable. The amenities in and outside of the house are plentiful: bowling alley, pool ( not heated though), outside kitchen .... certainly recommend this place to...

"Location was excellent and the room was very comfortable clean with a nice large bathroom. We had a balcony which was a nice addition. There is a breakfast but we didn’t take it. Just a very nice experience "
