Best Western Elko Inn

"I would have given this hotel a 5-star review except for a few things. (1) Neither of the ice machines were working; (2) both the pool and spa were drained and empty; and (3) there was a chemical odor in the hallway on the second floor. The front desk staff said that they are in the middle of a remodel which is why some of those issues existed. However, there were a few things that were outstanding: (1) the breakfast was one of the best I've had at a Best Western. The lady who ran their kitchen was excellent. (2) The bed was super comfortable. My husband and I slept very well. (3) The room was roomy which we really appreciated. (4) The shower had GREAT water pressure, which I really enjoyed since I washed my hair. (5) We left an item in our room which we didn't discover until we were well on the road. They contacted us and held the item until we traveled back through. The manager was very accommodating in that regard. THANK YOU!!"

"I was booked there but did not stay. They had used cleaner in the room that I could not tolerate. Jen, asst. manager helped in canceling my booking and making sure I did not get charged. When I called back several days later, Jen said they had stopped using that certain cleaner. Next time I am going through Elko, I will give them another try. There customer service more than shows me that. Thank you Jen, you went above ."

"Room was a throwback to the 1970's. Casino was cute and small. The restaurant was nice along with the staff."

"I enjoyed the stay for an overnight stay. Everything was clean however, I forgot socks or slippers and did not feel like the rugs were clean enough for me to walk through. The room had a hint of sock smell. Once you're in you cannot smell it."

"Everything was what you would expect, clean and as described. The view we had was partly of the roof, but given we had a pet friendly room, I figured we had to make a concession."
