"The guard checked me in . Though I had booked for a garden view room , I was given a room without a window . The Ac remote didn’t work and I was awake till 2 PM due to excessive heat . The room looked like a chicken coop , the pillow were tiny and so uncomfortable . My day got ruined because of the discomfort . Looks like a property from Pahadgunj , they are trying to save on everything from toiletries to electricity bill . Not recommended , there are better properties nearby for a cheaper...

Over the top great . . The second time was when I came off a 14 day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp . . Ms. Pramila came in on her day off just for me . . Serious!! Ms. Aayusha on the front desk . . Was exceptional in all aspects . . Professional. Positive. Outgoing. Perfect English. Natural talent in making clients feel welcome and special. I will be back . . "We stayed at this beautiful property on the hills outside of Kathmandu for our last two nights following a 20 day trip through Nepal and Bhutan. We needed to chill after a very busy schedule and this was the place! The property overlooking the Annapurna range is stunning and the views especially at sunrise and sunset if you’re lucky with the weather are beyond awesome. The rooms are large and very well equipped though the shower was not very well laid out as there was no door and only a hand held shower head on a stand and it tended to wet the whole area when using. The staff is wonderful and very accomodating and a shout out to shef Deepak who went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful Nepali food experience. The pool area is beautiful always of course with the views but we found the jacuzzi onot up to standard and definitely needed an upgrade breakfast buffet is plentiful and very good with a good mix of local and western food choices and they make amazingly good cappuccinos ! A free yoga class in a beautiful forest setting was the best yoga class experience we had. Many other activities are available though we found them expensive. The cooking class though is a must ! Only complaint is this property is not for the elderly or anyone with mobility or physical issues. There are many stairs and no elevators. Staff of course is there to help with luggage etc but moving from rooms to restaurant to pools etc requires many up and down stairs which may be a challenge."

"The hotel was great the problem we had was with EXPEDIA. I WILL NEVER BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA AGAIN. I was booking 6 rooms for 6 nights. I hit enter without realizing it was a locked in reservation. I immediately contacted them to see if they would drop 6 rooms for 1 night. They would not do it; claiming it was the hotels decision. I contacted the hotel they claimed it was Expedia who has to change the reservation. The Hotel confirmed afterward; Expedia only paid them for 5 nights; they kept the remaining money for themselves. CRIMINALS!"

"My 5 day stay was absolutely perfect, super friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast was delicious, the cafe area great to hang out at. Cappuccino was the best. The location super convent in the middle of everything, but tugged away a bit and quiet. Absolutely recommend."

"This hotel is clean, close to many restaurants, shops and central to all things tourist life but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood area so very quiet at night. The restaurant has good food too. If you want authentic Nepalese cuisine ask for it as normally they tone down the chili for the tourists. Breakfast was good. AC works great too as well as fast WiFi. Staff and Service were exceptional as they kept our bags for a few days when we were trekking tigers. We would stay here again."

"Very close to the airport and the hotel has a shuttle. Very clean and friendly staff. Only two things I wish had been different- they called at 8:15 to say the breakfast buffet is ready. They serve til 10:00 and I was sleeping. The shower never got warm. The tv is bigger than other hotels and has internet. There are many restaurants nearby. I will return."
