"Location and amenities were fantastic. Being able to see the ocean and horizon was so amazing So great having so many rooms. Bit tough to ensure we had enough bedding for all the beds :| We loved it, the shower and little bath were incredible. So good to have a laundry. Really easy check in. Only thing worth mentioning is that there wasnt really any decent sized fry pans and the inside table is fairly tacky, likely from years of use and salty air."

"Banksia hideaway was a great stay.The resort itself is a bit Aussie and attracts 4wd groups that at times can be quite loud. We experienced young immature group of boys that were offensive, loud, intentionally antagonistic and disrespectful. The resort was responsive in dealing with issue on the second night when we went to them direct.This aside it was a good stay and plenty on offer and opportunity to relax poolside, despite being cold and spa heater out of operation."

"The accommodation is conveniently located on the eastern side of the island which makes it easy to take in the sites. The apartment we had was clean and comfortable, although there was an issue with the hot water that we were not warned about. This translated to cold showers in winter for the first 24 hours of our stay. The restaurant was also being renovated when we stayed, but staff did their best to ensure reasonable meals. The pool tables gave us some night-time entertainment that was appreciated, although this area had a very ‘school-camp’ vibe. The pool was too cold to use when we stayed. Staff were friendly."

"The house is in a great location with ocean views and not too far from K'gari town. Access to the beach track is only a short drive also.House furniture and layout is really good with plenty of room for the entire family.The house is well equipped with all cooking utensils, seating, bedding and extras for a comfortable stay. The only downside was the invasive cameras on the property looking directly at you whilst on the deck.Would stay again."
