Great place to stay! Lots to do, nice staff and clean!

The Asher Adams, Autograph Collection is a decent place to stay in Salt Lake City. This hotel is located in the historic Salt Lake City Union Pacific Depot that once served as the Amtrak station in SLC. It now has a nice shopping area behind the hotel called the Gateway. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are nice and quiet. The elevators operate pretty quickly and efficiently. It did take me a minute or two to get hot water in the bathroom sink and shower and the configuration of the toilet and shower are in different stalls and are not situated together in one bathroom as is standard in most hotels. That may not be to everybody's liking. The hotel also lacks a convenience store or vending machines but it does have a good coffee shop as well as two restaurants, a bar and a gym. However, if you're looking for a pool, you'll want to stay elsewhere. There maybe better places to stay in SLC or Utah in general, but you wouldn't go wrong staying at Asher Adams especially if you want to be in close proximity to the Delta Center which is right across the street.

It was a great stay overall, but the check-in instructions could be improved, as other guests have mentioned. The process would be much smoother with clearer, simpler, step-by-step instructions provided in order. Other than that, the place was super clean, felt luxurious, and offered great value for the price. I will definitely come back again.
