"Condo was very nice, and very clean. Our only issue was that we arrived after dark, and the stairs going down to entrance were rather dark. The check-in was a little confusing. The guest services referenced in check-in instructions is actually 1.5miles away from the property. That took us a little while to figure out, and we had zero cellular service with Verizon, in that area. So I had to just drive and find somewhere to stop and ask about it. "This place is awesome, we stayed in the Perch, it was perfect, peaceful, we slept great. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, stayed 2 nights, met some wonderful people there. The owners are great. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We've been visiting Chimney Rock for over 60 years. They're starting to get everything back to normal, they're working so hard. Go visit and help support all the wonderful businesses. Hurricane Helene hit them hard almost 2 years ago, go show them some Love!"

"The drive up the hill to the house is very curvy and a bit unnerving. The house itself is good-sized with plenty of places to sleep. We appreciated the laundry room, plentiful linens and towels, and lots of cleaning supplies. Plus - coffee! The AC and heat worked fine. We did not use the fireplace."

"We stayed with our kids and grandkids oh and 2 dogs. Everything was very clean the Host was one of the best we have had. Grandkids lived in the hot tub we got up at 8:00 in the morning and they where already in it. We will definitely be back. Happy to see town open."

"The house was large, beautiful and a great location. However, the cabin had not been thoroughly dusted and cleaned in a while. We had to leave a day early because of family allergy issues. The top layer of bed linens were very dusty - which we never use much but as I said we had to leave a day early.The kitchen utensil drawer had dead flies in them.That being said, I did contact host and he was going to order a thorough cleaning on cabin."

"We and our adult children and their spouses spent several days enjoying this beautiful home and its surroundings. The lake house was well stocked with anything we needed. All necessary equipment was provided for kayak or canoe trips. The basement game room provided many options for fun! Parking was adequate for several vehicles. We will definitely look into staying again if we visit Lake Lure in the future."
