Come inside, the house is yours! Welcome to Papakea! Located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world-class golf resorts and minutes from shops, museums, restaurants, and galleries in nearby Lahaina and Whalers Village. Papakea is a 13 acre oceanfront resort with the true aloha feeling of Maui. Papakea Resort boasts two private pools, two Jacuzzi's, direct beachfront access, cabana, three lighted tennis courts, two shuffleboard courts, two 18-hole putting greens, Koi ponds, lush gardens, and 12 outdoor barbecues. The resort also has an Activity Desk. For the sports enthusiast, the golf courses of Kapalua and Kaanapali are nearby, as well as great snorkeling, paddle-boarding and boogie-boarding. Or take your time walking the miles of soft sand beaches. Our newly listed fourth floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom corner unit condo is ocean view with its own private lanai in the 'E' Building. The unit has Tri Zone AC and also has ceiling fans in each bedroom. If you would like to stay 'connected', Papakea offers free wireless Internet access. Enjoy a cold beverage on the lanai while taking in the beautiful vista and listening to the waves. Plenty of free parking (for the first vehicle) and both elevator and stairs are located close-by. The living area has ample seating, as well as satellite TV, DVD player, and a soundbar to stream your favorite music. There is a dining table with seating for four inside, as well as seating for four on the private lanai. The kitchen is fully equipped with new dishes, cooking utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. The unit also has its own full size front load washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with plenty of dresser and closet space. The guest bedroom in the upstairs loft has a king size bed, plenty of closet space and also has a flat panel TV. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs in the loft area and the other on the main floor. There is a brand new queen sized pull-out sofa in the living room for extra guests. All linens including large beach towels are provided. Make your getaway to Maui a special one, and enjoy the essence of aloha at Papakea! Please note: Papakea charges a $17/day facility fee for your first 10 consecutive days in a 30 day period. The fee includes a parking permit, Wi-fi throughout the resort, cable and local calls during your stay. Additional vehicles are $5 a day. It was magical. Our stay at the Papakea was just perfect. The location was so ideal. The resort offered everything we needed…ocean, pool, hot tub, shuffle board, golf putting, a bamboo garden filled with birds, and friendly staff. Our balcony view was spectacular. Our hosts were very responsive to any questions. We were close to amenities such as a grocery store, a convenience store, a farmer’s market and food trucks. Honestly…it was perfect!!! ##### Alison L. We loved the view from the lanai. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. And the weather was perfect too. On a serious note, I was glad to see the hard work being put to bring Lahaina back. Unit was spacious and well equipped. A few comments - sound travels from downstairs living room couch to upstairs loft, so best not to put snorer & snorer sensitive person in this same space. Bedroom downstairs has a door so that is of help. Staircase is rather narrow and turns on the last three steps near the bottom. Need to pay attention to this or it is easy to slip or trip. Downstairs bathroom shower door does not stay closed, latch needs repair. The tall furniture on the lanai is nice, allows for great views. The property is very nice to walk around as is the path along the beach. Great views of Molokai and Lanai. We fell in love with the ABC store and deli next door. Such a great selection of local food & treats. Friendly people working in all of the places that we went. ##### LESLI U. We enjoyed spending time poolside and walking along the shore. The balcony was a favorite spot to soak in the view while reading a book. We even spent a morning making our own leis!
