Nice location

Nice comfortable property. After a bit of a problem when we arrived everything was taken care of and we had an excellent visit. I would recommend this property. It is sad to see the current state of Lahaina, hope it can come back.

Horrendous VRBO from start to finish

Renter BEWARE! I am a person who reads all reviews prior to purchasing most anything. So I was happy to see a good amount of reviews on this place and booked without hesitation. And that is where I went wrong. If a unit does not have a solid 5 star rating there is a reason. This unit is a pig with lipstick on at best. The unit is rundown and needs a major deep cleaning. If you like sleeping on stained sheets and bedding with human hair all over the bedding and sheets then this is the place for you. If you enjoy staying at a unit where the cops show up to break up a domestic incident then make your reservation today! Another added bonus, I hope you like to keep all of the windows closed in the unit and not enjoy the fresh ocean air because the next door neighbors love to smoke marijuana and pungent is an understatement. It was fun explaining to my children that what they were smelling was not skunk. And even more fun to explain to my crying scared children that the domestic incident in the lobby would be ok. In addition, if you enjoy being "off the grid" and not having electricity for anywhere from 1-3 hours then book immediatley! The pièce de résistance was when we called to speak with the owner "Annie" who is actually a rude, condescending could care less male from the East coast who will yell & scream at you and call you a liar and not let you get a word in edgewise. A word to the wise, DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT. Do yourself a favor and run away like your hair is on fire.

The unit had all of the comforts of home with a beautiful view of the ocean. The unit was very clean and relaxing during our stay. We enjoyed breakfast from the balcony and watched the whales every morning. This was our first time using Vrbo and our first time stay in Maui. The unit was in a great location at a fair price. No parking and resorts fee's was an added savings to our trip. Communication with rental property was easy. Highly recommended.
