150-4 Ocean Front Condo with an Amazing View!

Location, location, location! This condo, located just 30 feet from the ocean in beautiful Puamana, offers a serene retreat in a community recovering from the Lahaina fire. Puamana, a 30-acre oceanfront community, is known for its stunning shoreline and lush landscapes.

Unfortunately, the historic clubhouse and some amenities were lost to the fire. Despite this, Puamana still offers a truly unique island experience and the perfect place to unwind and relax. A complete renovation of the spectacular Ocean Pool was completed in October 2025, offering guests a one-of-a-kind setting right at the water’s edge with breathtaking views of the Pacific. The Dolphin Pool is also open and available for use.

This three-bedroom, two-bath unit is a perfect choice for families. The master bedroom features a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom, while the two additional bedrooms each have twin beds, which can be converted to kings. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the lanai remains the highlight of this home, where you can enjoy breathtaking ocean views. From sunrise to sunset and late-night stargazing, the lanai offers a front-row seat to Maui’s beauty. Watch surfers and paddle boarders throughout the day, and during whale season, you have the perfect vantage point for whale watching.

While Lahaina town was heavily impacted, this property’s location remains a convenient gateway to exploring the island. After a day of sightseeing or island adventures, this condo is the perfect place to come home and relax by the ocean.

PEACEFUL

This place was amazing - we stayed 1 week for a work trip and coming back to this place every night was amazing. The view of the beach and the sounds of the waves just relaxes you - and with easy access to the beach made this even better. Every night was spent watching the sunset. The place itself was just as pictured - super clean and beautiful. Will definitely book this again.

Maui during the wild fires

When Lahaina reopens for tourism I would highly recommend staying at this property. Even though the trip didn't turn out as we had hoped due to the wild fires we feel for all those local residence who lost everything. During this event the communication with the host was above and beyond what I would have expected. Thank you! Dave.

Beautiful location

I’m writing this review after arriving home and just hearing about the fires in Lahaini. This property was on the beautiful historical grounds of Puamana. We were within walking distance to the pools, tennis courts, beach, and club house. Historical Lahaini with all of its quaint shops and restaurants were just a short drive. We soaked in beautiful sunsets each night right from our own lanai. From the photos and videos on the news, we are so sad that this historic area likely has been damaged or destroyed by the fires. We pray that the historic clubhouse and the majestic banyan tree, planted next to it at the same time it was built, will survive. Keeping everyone in Maui in our prayers!

Fantastic Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo! The location is beautiful - the photos do not do justice to the wonderful ocean view and the soothing sound of the waves! The property managers were very helpful when we left some items behind. We were only able to book this condo for a few days of our week long visit to Maui, and we would have been thrilled to be able to stay for the entire trip. I would definitely return here on our next visit.

The Perfect Place for our first trip to Maui!

The views from this unit are amazing! The place was spacious and fully stocked with everything you could need! The community was gated and well kept. The lanai was great with lounge chairs and a large table. I had coffee every morning out there! The rental company is so responsive and accommodating. There were a few minor issues that were resolved very quickly. Maui is magic and I would highly recommend this unit!

Beautiful Property. We would love to stay in again!

This place has a little bit of everything in my opinion. I cannot say enough about the location, views and grounds of this property. Everywhere you look is another spectacular view. From the time we arrived until the time we left we were mesmerized by the views. We visited Maui/Lahaina with a family of 7 and this place had space for us all. The condo itself was very well equipped with everything we needed ie: boogie boards, beach toys, even a small travel cooler. The kitchen and linen closet were also well stocked. We did enjoy watching and hearing the waves while making breakfast. The gated community was absolutely beautiful as well. So many tropical plants! The 2 huge mango trees in the center of the community were on the top of our list. We even had a covered parking spot which was fantastic. The "quiet pool" was beautiful, but very deep and was almost unusable because of the 5 ft starting depth. The 2 things I feel need to be mentioned are: The condo could use a good deep clean. With that being said, it is a beachfront condo, so I know sand and things are constantly being tracked in. It's understandable that it would be hard to maintain a squeaky-clean place. There were just a few things that could have been easily cleaned and weren't. Luckily, we brought wipes and did a walk through on the first day. The second thing is: master bathroom toilet was a challenge from the time we arrived. It was usable, just a struggle. Not a deal breaker for us, it just wasn't ideal.

Perfect location in Lahaina

Waking up to the sounds of ocean waves and being able to walk out onto the beach makes the location of this unit unbeatable! We had a minor issue upon arrival that management was promptly responsive to. The unit itself is tastefully decorated and description was accurate based on photos provided. Dining, shopping and markets are within a short drive. We looking forward to staying here again in the future!

A place to relax and disconnect for a while.

The sound of the waves. The beauty of Maui, Lanai an the Puamana property. Restful and relaxing. Honestly couldn't tell you if the TV worked since we never turned it on. Couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. This was our second visit staying in one of the APVR rentals in Puamana. Sometimes things go awry (one of the portable A/C units stopped working). Its all in how you handle the situation. Dave and staff were very attentive and quickly provided a replacement. Thanks again Dave and staff. Until next time, mahalo.

Great location for exploring Maui, fantastic view, just OK for young kids

My family stayed in 150-4 Puamana for a week (Sep-Oct), and overall we enjoyed it! Fantastic views! We had a 6-year-old and a 3.5-year-old with us, and while this specific property and Puamana aren't the most pre-schooler/toddler-friendly places, it's pretty good. They had some sand toys, pool noodles, beach chairs, and a set of adult-size snorkel gear in their outside closet, all of which came in handy. The library at Puamana is almost exclusively adult-focused; bring books for the kids! The pools at Puamana have very little shallow area (just some steps and then it drops to 4ft very quickly); the beach isn't suitable for small children due to the high surf. That said, Baby Beach is less than a 10-minute drive, parking is easy, and it's not too crowded. That was our go-to beach every day that we went - good snorkeling for the adults and kids, water is good for the kids, low surf. We saw sea turtles 2 of the 3 days we were out there, and got great video/photos. The location is great. My wife and I walked to Lahaina via Front Street one night for dinner, about a 20-minute walk. There is no sidewalk, so it's not the best walk, but there isn't much traffic on the south end of Front, so we were easily able to move to the side. It's also a very short drive to town, and parking wasn't an issue for us at this time of year. It's about a 3-min drive to the grocery and drug stores, similar to closeby restaurants... all very convenient. The location is great if you're not sure where you're going to spend your time. We spent a morning in Kapalua, saw Haleakala, did the Maui Ocean Center... and felt like we could get around to any place relatively easily. If you're staying only in West Maui, you might consider a resort or someplace even closer to Lahaina, but this place wouldn't be bad. Conversely if "east" Maui is where you want to be (Road to Hana, Haleakala, Kihei, Makena or north shore beaches), then I'd say stay in Kihei or Wailea. If you're not sure, this is a great, central location. Overall, we were very happy with the unit. The kitchen is well-appointed. I made several meals and cooked breakfast every day. My only complaint was that one of the central AC units failed the week prior, so we were stuck with temp/portable AC units in three rooms. The property manager did warn us about it in advance, so it was only a minor inconvenience. We had to do a little bit of kid-proofing when we arrived, but otherwise, it was fine for the kids.

Family VaCa at Maui 2022

Much nicer place then the pictures shown online. Very roomy and accommodated our entire family of 6, plus my Dad. One of my Dad's favorite thing was to wake up and sit outside on the patio and listen to the waves! That's how close we were. Up-to-date appliances. Enough parking space to accommodate two vehicles. Owners were easy to get a hold of. Check in and check out was very easy. ***Three minor items: 1.) Coffee machine stopped working for three days 2.) Washer might have had residue of bleach, because the first two loads spotted some of our clothes. 3.) Main shower/tub had draining issue. We had to pull hair out of it.

Incredible View and Fantastic Trip

This is a fantastic place! The pictures of the view don’t do it justice. You get fantastic sunset views every night from your patio. I was not sure if my young family could use the beach to play, but there was enough sand at low tide. The waves are big enough to attract surfers. The first night, the surf was quite high but for the most part, surf waves broke 30-50 yards away and the beach itself was safe and fun for all ages. I could also hear the waves while I was sleeping. What a fantastic spot! There are three pools, a tennis court, a playground and now a pickleball court. The clubhouse will rent equipment if you want to play. The food truck options in the area are great. Lahaina is incredibly close. The Safeway by the cannery mall was well stocked in spite of what I was hearing. I’ve seen comments on this place talking about people walking past your back patio. The grass between your patio and the beach is often used by people trying to get beach access. I wasn’t sure what to think of this before going, but after experiencing I think it’s a lot like people using the sidewalk in front of your house. It really wasn’t bothersome to me at all and nothing could really take my focus off the beach in the sunset anyway. The unit itself was nice. I would suggest traveling with a power strip if you have a lot of people in your party. This building was built along time ago, so there are less outlets than you would think there will be. But that’s a problem easily solved. One suggestion for improvement.. I thought the floor was a little dirty at check in. I noticed because I had a baby crawling around on it. To be fair to owners, it’s right next to the beach. Even the cleanest of the cleanest will track dirt and sand into the house. Overall my entire family loved the unit and we can’t wait to go back some day!

5 Star Lodging / 5 Star Location & Views

The place is as good as the listing writeup & pictures suggest. Would rent here again. About 1 mile from downtown Lahaina is an added bonus. Walkable but if your group can ride, rent cruisers from Boss Frogs. This gives quick easy access to town without the hassle of car parking. Felt comfortable doing this on Front Street.
