"Easy walking to restaurants and the heated pool and fire pit were quite enjoyable!"

"Front is under construction. Had to wait 2 hours to get our room, apparently they were waiting on confirmation that that the room was set. About 15 people waiting for 2 hours to get their room. Resort fee was charged although the only thing available was the pool. Shady character seen hanging by elevators on different floors. We had two rooms, my daughter’s room was next to a room with “swingers” in full force until 3:30 am."

"Extra friendly and helpful staff. Check in was 4 pm but ferry got us in early and they let us go to our room early. Just very accommodating and friendly all weekend. Would absolutely book again. "

"We stayed early April — off season. No ice machine, no pool (of course), breakfast very simplistic. We were comfortable in our rooms. "

"We had a lovely stay despite the cloudy weather conditions. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apt which was great. Comfortable bed, all the amenities you need. "

"Room was very dirty. Markings on the floor. Dirty bed cover. The office chair was disgusting. On top of the office desk there was an unplugged microwave, it was like “here’s a microwave if you need it”, I had to bring it down to the floor. I can’t imagine it’s safe for a kid or older person Room had the “extra perfume” smell that overpowering, probably to cover the bad smells. I kind of expecting this from the google reviews but on Expedia the reviews were pretty good so I took a shot. Won’t stay here again. Expect this when you book your stay so you don’t get disappointed. Everything else was ok. Plenty of parking. They even have an EV charger."

"I just wanted to write this review about the Faraway I checked into my room after a long day of moving on island . I got to the room tried to wash my face and hands . No hot water , Tried to call the front desk no phone service . I had to use the cell phone to reach the front desk . Finally after a 30 minute wait maintenance and the front desk attendant stopped by . They had no idea what was wrong and how to fix it . He asked me to move to another room but i declined because i was beat and had already gone food shopping and put it away . Another issue i have a problem with is . I was only supposed to pay $28 @ the property but they charged my card $200 for incidentals. Thats alot of $ for incidentals. I just dont understand how a luxury hotel like that . Can open up for the season and meticulously inspect every room before presenting it to the public . Also the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling . There was black mold in the shower not a good look with white subway tiles . It was cold that nite i jacked my heat up.to.78 degrees and fan on high . It was soo cold in my room it was like i was camping . The staff was incompetent, unskilled and the quality was unacceptable for a room that cost $700 @ nite to check in . Im waiting to speak with the manager . Lets see if he calls me . TRULY DISSATISFIED "
