Staffs are untrained and unkind. The owner is disrespectful and rude. They ignore customer’s request. Not 4 stars hotel. So disappointed and wasted my money. Worst service in my life! DO NOT recommend to anyone.

The hotel and staff were excellent. The main issue is the hotel location as it was not "walkable" to "town" and taxi service was generally unavailable. Parking at the hotel was available a block away, but parking in town was almost impossible to find.

Great spot - views are amazing! Staff is super friendly. You can have a boat ride pick u up either from the dock at the hotel or near by. Amazing dinner spot with great authentic menu. Highly recommend

The hotel setting was beautiful and the pool area overlooking the lake is really the selling point. There is a jetty and staff can arrange for you to be collected there for a boat trip around the lake. And there are two kayaks for use by hotel guests. We stayed in a partial lake view room (which was the only room type available at the time of booking). I would say the room was very small and we were next to the lift so a little noisy. If booking again, and I hope to do so, I would definitely book one of the larger rooms with a balcony overlooking the lake. We also ate in the restaurant and had the tasting menu which was excellent.

Too many minor issues to be good
The staff are very nice but there seemed to be a rather a lot of minor issues. We had 3 in our room but were only given slippers and dressing gowns for 2 , the used toiletries weren’t automatically replaced , the toilet flush didnt work properly and the shower was very small . Our room had grossly inadequate lighting , after 2 days this was finally sorted and begs the question why it wasn’t Ok in the first place . We found the breakfasts rather limited , there was no granola or muesli and the fruit juices were diluted and sweetened , as they were when you bought a drink by the pool. Finally the parking wasn’t great we weren’t told about further parking until the second day .

I loved this Villa Vittoria, it’s a hidden gem with a beautiful view of Lake Como. The owner of the property, Daniela, personally took care of us and was a great host. Federica, was also extremely nice and helpful, always ready to answer any questions we had. We are definitely coming back to Villa Vittoria!

The hotel was stunning to look at, and had a couple of little quirks that added to the experience e.g. free use of bicycles, complimentary breakfast, room service, toiletries in the room etc just small extras.

Enjoyable stay
Quiet setting directly on the lakeside. Lovely outdoor pool and seating areas. The staff were friendly although perhaps not as attentive as we would expect for a high quality small hotel. Room facilities were clean and comfortable. Excellent dinner menu and quality food. Breakfast buffet choices were satisfactory but limited. With such a strong kitchen we would have liked a choice of eggs made to order for example. An enjoyable stay for a couple of nights but far surpassed at a 28 bed hotel in Locarno for the next four nights which was out of this world......at comparable prices.

No hot water Apparently when other people shower on the same floor it impacts the temperature. Restaurant closed so no lunch and dinner, but I guess this was off peak season. Two members of staff who were working were very friendly and always helpful.

Parfait pour un séjour romantique. La chambre Attic avec vue magnifique sur le lac (deux petites fenêtres) est très confortable, la salle de bain est grande. The location is unique and magnificent. However the service can be chaotic. Cold cappuccino and cold octopus (main dish) do not reflect the quality you expect. Some waiters are arrogant, some waitresses are extremely helpful and kind. The price performance ratio is low. As said before the location compensates a lot, but the number of days for staying shall be limited.
