"Loved our stay! Was a little difficult with a 15 month old because of the ladder to the second floor. She always wanted to climb it. Lol I think the only down side was that the cottages are very close together. On the pictures, they look more secluded and private. But even with the closeness, the neighbours were very quiet and respectful. We had a very nice stay, I would definitely recommend for families. The amazing beach is very close. Be careful with the current in the river, it’s strong!...

"The chalet is gorgeous! Not as clean as we would have liked as there was hair on the blankets/linens and some of the dishes/cutlery were not clean. The dishwasher didn’t work so we had to wash everything by hand, which I’ve been told will be looked into. And could be why some of the dishes/cutlery were dirty The hot tub also was grimy as there was obvious grit on the seats. I wanted to keep the place clean but unfortunately the only vacuum I could find was a shop vac that blew everything sucked...

It was well-heated, well-equipped, comfortable, had a great view, and we were especially impressed with the kitchen equipment, which was important to us as we cooked our own food (there aren't many restaurants in the neighborhood). There were also issues that we wanted to mention, because they are important to know *before* booking this place. First, and foremost, the toilet and shower are in the same room as the bed, with no acoustic...

"Overall we were disappointed with our stay. The cottage itself needs maintenance...the dishwasher was broken for our whole stay. The bath tubs dont drain well, there are stains in the carpet, and cigarette butts in several ash trays around the deck. The listing shows a picture of a lake beach but access is only allowed for bracelet holders, despite the cottage being just across the street from the lake. The closest water access is a 15 minute drive away in the village of Labelle."
