"My husband and I stayed at Maple Tree Cabin with our two children (ages 4 and 1) while visiting family friends nearby. The home itself was sparkling clean and we were pleasantly surprised by all of the thoughtful amenities! Perfect location for families - our 4 year old son LOVED the air hockey table upstairs, and we had quite a bit of fun with all of the boardgames. Everything was 10/10 - highly recommend this cozy, private and picturesque location for anyone traveling through the area. Communication with the host was also A -- thank you so much, Gardner! "

"Apartment is very small with no living space. We brought several concerns to the host’s attention but they were not addressed. Our main concern was that there were no apparent smoke or CO detectors, a single egress and the only fire extinguisher was in a box under a sink. This violates CT fire code. Temperature is set by host for entire building. It was cold and host told us space heater was provided to address the issue. We honestly felt nervous about using it given the lack of fire safety in unit. The unit had ants and a terrible odor which the host explained was a result of a non authorized cat staying in the unit ahead of us. It was very unpleasant. The host has tastefully renovated this unit and it could be a nice place to stay but until safety issues are corrected I cannot recommend staying here. "

"This cottage is absolutely gorgeous! It is quiet, but in easy driving distance to the town of Chester, and is decorated in a tasteful and fun way. The kitchen is well appointed, bedding comfortable, and the location is great - with access to the lake beach included. The host was very responsive and pleasant in all communications. We highly recommend this lovely property!"

"Our stay at this stunning property was extraordinary. The communication was excellent; we received detailed emails in advance explaining the amenities and check-in/out procedures. We were assured that any questions we had would be answered quickly.We arrived to an exceptionally clean house, decorated with lovely furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedding was comfortable and the towels were cozy and luxurious. Everything was clean and tranquil. Tema was at our disposal from the moment we arrived and took care of all our needs—nothing was missing. His warm welcome made our stay feel even more pleasant and comfortable."
