"La Sagesse is an incredible boutique resort. The property is beautiful. La Sagesse bay is the perfect location to swim, kayak or just relax for the day. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant on site is amazing. The staff, namely Sammy and John, are wonderful and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. The owners, Mike and Lynn, make a point to meet their guests and share their local knowledge and insight. I highly recommend booking here if you don’t want the crowds and need a place to truly relax. "Plenty of space for three couples - three bedrooms each with air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. Pool and deck have a view over the sea. Sitting room and dining room also have great views, and have shutters instead of windows. That allows a breeze through the rooms, though also a risk of mosquitoes indoors (not a problem, just take some repellant). Quiet and peaceful neighbourhood."

"Great villia. Everything was as noted. Stairs are not challenging if you can do them. But they are everywhere. Each room has less than 5 to get to them. Views are amazing!"

"Ursel looks after the villa and the grounds and she gave us a lovely welcome and was very helpful throughout our stay.John (the owner) is a great communicator and kept us up to date with all the information one could require.The villa was spotless and very comfortable in a lovely quiet location, that might not suit everyone but it was perfect for our family. "The villa as big and lovely as the photos suggest. The air conditioned bedrooms were horrid l gorgeous and a respite from the heat.The location is truly excellent. On a safe (security guard at the entrance to the estate), immaculate peninsula only a short 20 minutes drive from Grand Anse and George Town. I think the location is a lot better than staying in either of those locations too.Hannah who assisted with our stay was phenomenal and couldn't do enough to help."

"We were lucky enough to spend four weeks at this wonderful home. If you are looking for a place outside of the main tourist area that is spacious, private and has a beautiful view this is it. We spent most of our time outside on the terrace or in the pool enjoying the view. It overlooks lovely La Sagesse beach, where you can have a lovely meal, rent a lounge chair for the day or just put a towel down and enjoy. You will need a car and will probably want to do your main grocery shopping in the Grand Anse/St George area. You can buy fresh fruits and vegetables at roadside stands but the smaller, local stores selection is limited. The house is very well set up with an open, airy living area on one floor and sliders that open onto the veranda. We always left these open when we were home, allowing indoor/outdoor living and the wonderful breeze to blow through.The bedrooms are large, had plenty of closet space and each had an en suite bathroom, along with three of them having sliders out to the upstairs veranda. I like a firm mattress but we found the beds to be very hard. Nigel, the owner, and Pearl, the manager, were both easily reached and responded quickly to any questions or needs we had. When I let Pearl know there wasn’t a usable frying pan nor a grill she arrived the next day with a set of frying pans and a new gas grill. They can’t fix or replace things if they don’t know about it. The only negative was not being told about the loud construction noise ahead of time. "
