Guest access: This is a private, standalone cabin exclusively for guest use. The A-frame, land, hot tub, and private driveway are not shared. We have contactless check-in for the convenience and safety of our guests. There is a large private driveway to park in, please park on the gravel areas. The day before your check-in, the owner will message you the access code for the key lockbox for self check-in. Outdoor security cameras are required by our home insurance at each entrance of the cabin (1 front and 1 back). There are no security cameras of any kind inside. Please note, we have seasonal snow removal service during winter months that will access the property to maintain plowing of the private driveway. This person will never enter the inside of the house, but you may see a plow truck while he performs this maintenance at the cabin. House was super cute and very cozy. The house cooled down quickly after the sun set, making up for the lack of a/c. Very clean hot tub, gorgeous walk in shower, super nice master suite. My family and I had a wonderful long weekend in the Deschutes A-Frame. It is even better in person; everything is new, clean, and well-maintained. Plenty of towels and kitchen ware, and even family games. The kids loved playing cards and thought the projector screen for the smart TV was amazing (it was). The hot tub with views of the stars and ponderosas made it all even better. This was a great base for exploring Newberry caldera and central Oregon.
