« We loved staying here! The room was perfect and it’s located right by the pool! The pictures are very accurate. We rented a car so it made coming and going easy. Others reviewed that they didn’t like it being outside of town, but when we visited the town we were thrilled with our location at Casa de MoalBoal. The town is very cramped and dirty, so it was lovely coming home to a fresh, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. The free breakfast was always good. We also snorkeled just out front. »

If you go scuba-diving (40 $ for instruction and a 40 minutes swim; for a first time, that was good enough for me), you will love the pool for getting the salt off you. Plenty of restaurants around. « Great hostel, staff is really nice. They have a shuttle from the bus station/beach, but they don't run late so if you are going out, it takes 20min to walk back. Everything was clean. I highly recommend this place. They also offer activities/tours but you can find cheaper option along the beach. »

« Nice quiet location off the main road a little and away from the bars closer to the beach. Staff were super friendly and met lots of cool travellers. The food at their main pub area was really good also. Only complaint would be the door knob was very squeaky in my room. Other than that, I would stay again if in Moalboal. »
