They were very friendly and let us check in early and held our bags so we could explore La Fortuna. The suite was clean. The best part is the property. It is just beautiful and we would watch the many varieties of birds such as hummingbird and toucans or listen to the howler monkeys! Wow, what an amazing time here! The property is so beautiful and the rooms have everything you could need, including wine glasses and a bottle opener! To sit on the patio in the morning to hear the birds was amazing. There is also a cat and a few dogs there who are very well taken care of and very sweet. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was superb! The service was really good. We especially loved the coffee they have at the restaurant. The rooms are kept clean, and they have air conditioning. Just a tip- bring shampoo and conditioner if you need them. They have a 3 in 1 soap, which is supposed to wash your hair and act as your body wash. There are also no wash rags provided. The staff were very helpful. The bed was not that great so we did not get good sleep. The lack of storage for your belongings and clothes was a big issues with us as we were traveling for more then three weeks in the country. Our toilet flush didn’t work but someone come to help quickly. We only stayed 2 nights and didn’t have enough liquid soap for 2 people in the dispenser. We took cold showers and had to call for service. After that hot showers were hit or miss. There were many sleepless nights on the twin bed. It definitely needs a new mattress. The layout of the room is nice and the location is good.
