Don Paula is in a great location and is value for money. It is a basic hotel within old Cordoba. The Mezquita and dining options are all in walking distance. The taxi was able to drop us off at the door. If you are looking for a safe, simple, not too expensive stay then Don Paula is a good option.

I had a great stay at the Hotel Don Paula. Staff were friendly and helpful, and patient with my rudimentary Spanish. Location was perfect for exploring the old city, including the Juderia and La Mezquita. The room and bath were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I make it back to Cordoba. Highly recommended; a good find.

Adina Bondi is in a great location. Easy to access with great selection of shops and restaurants close by, a wonderful large fresh food market shop next door (Harris Farms) Bondi Beach and Icebergs is in close walking distance (within 5 minute walk). Hotel was very clean and recently refurbished. Would definitely stay again.

Basic but perfect location.
Basic but adequate hotel perfectly situated for exploring the city's narrow streets. Could probably do with being freshened up a bit, and the facilities are pretty limited but the room was a good size and the air-conditioning worked, which was great.

I miss this hotel already!
I loved my stay here. The hotel, located in the historic district and close to all the sights, was quaint and lovely. My room had a balcony that let in the cool night air and let me hear birds singing when I woke up. It had all room amenities, and free bottled water. The staff was friendly and very helpful. My only disappointment was the hard mattress. It wasn't quiet, but I was charmed by the voices of neighbors and laughter. This hotel is one of my very favorites.

Quiet hotel close to the city centre
We spent 2 nights at this small hotel in May. It is located in a quiet square just a few minutes walk from the historic sites (Great Mosque and Alcazar) and also the shopping centre. There are also many bars.cafes and restaurants nearby. Getting to the hotel by car can be tricky but the hotel website has a video of the route in, which I found very helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and quiet with double glazed windows.. There is a small fridge containing complementary water and fruit juice, which is a nice touch. There is also a small TV which does include a number of English language news channels for those of us who don't speak Spanish. I found the mattress a bit hard but still got a good night's sleep. The staff were helpful but only one of them spoke English. When he wasn't on duty, we were put through to him by phone. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a short break in Cordoba.

Excellent ideally situated small hotel!
Excellent room with everything I expected. Staff very willing to help but one staff member on duty each day didn't speak any English and I don't speak Spanish so arms waved around and bits of pointing etc had to do! All adds to the fun! Would recommend this hotel to anyone as only short walk from heart of old town! Free soft drinks in minibar fridge most welcome!

A family-ran hotel. The mom was very nice and helpful - especially when parking the car. Highly recommended. The bed was a little stiff - but that seems to be a pattern in Spain.

Friendly hotel at very convenient location
This hotel is right at the center of many attractions in the center of town. That makes it a little more difficult to access by car (and getting out through the narrow streets was even more interesting due to construction), but it was extremely easy to walk to the Mesquita, Jewish quarter, and great restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful with parking and other needs. The area was pretty quiet.

Adequate in e dry way. Good location.
There is nothing special about this hotel, but then again there is nothing that is less than adequate. The location is good in the sense that the neighbourhood is quiet and all the sites are walking distance. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The room has a mini fridge. There is a lift. The owners (family run) are very pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.

Smart, clean hotel in a great location on the edge of the old city, 5 minutes from the Mezquita. Clean twin bedroom overlooking a courtyard. En suite. Clean towels every day. Helpful staff. Car parking.

We found the hotel without problem but found it difficult with the one way system when we left the city. The room was comfortable and the air condioning was good. It had a free mini with free water and some cartons of flavoured milk. The room was clean and it was nice having full height french windows with small balconies. The hotel was very convenient for everything. We used the paid valet garaging there is a small unloading area outside the hotel. There are multi storey carparks nearby but there isn't any on road parking. If I was visiting the city again I would certainly use this hotel again.

Nice family run hotel in Cordoba historic centre
We had a very pleasant stay here in late April 2016. Located just 25 minutes walk from the rail and bus stations and 10 minutes from the main sights, this is a very clean, honest hotel, which provides very good value for the money. You get a simple room with comfortable beds, a good sized bathroom, a small fridge not cluttered with expensive, useless items, a safe, good internet. Unexpected in such a small hotel is the decent size elevator, good for 2 people and their luggage. The family running the hotel are all very helpful, and made this one of our best experiences in this type of hotel. The nearby "Mercado Victoria" (in fact a food court, one of the many in this part of the town) is very easy to find, open until late, and a good way to sample the local cuisine.

Excellent family-run hotel
Excellent family-run hotel in central area in Cordoba. Could easily walk to all the sights. Taxi from train station/bus station was about 6 Euros. The map provided by the hotel was useful in visiting all the attractions. The owner-family was very friendly and accommodating.

Directions to the hotel sent in advance enabled us to find it easily in the narrow streets of the old town. (We also appreciated the clear exit instructions.) We recommend reserving a parking space as street parking is impossible in the old part of town! The hotel's convenient location between the major tourist sites and Plaza Nueva's shopping and restaurant area was perfect for us. We garaged the car and walked everywhere. The host oriented us to Cordoba, its major sites and restaurant locations when we checked in. The orientation was both clear and brief..

Only stayed one night but really enjoyed the hotel. Only drawback was no breakfast was served. It was the cleanest hotel room...just spotless. Had an elevator too which was nice. Within walking distance of the Cordoba cathedral and the old Jewish quarter. Very reasonably priced.

Great hotel, great location
A two night stay at this lovely place right in the centre of things in Cordova. The rooms were large and clean with complimentary soft drinks and a nice big bathroom. All very clean. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of both the centre of town and shops as well as the mezquita and the palace of the Christian Kings. The owners are very friendly and incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!

An excellent base for sightseeing and eating - just a few minutes walk from the main sights and eateries. It's a family run hotel and very clean and comfortable. MAKE SURE YOU contact the hotel for directions - may of Spain's roads have changed, especially one-way streets, and these changes haven't been updated on satnavs. DO use the instructions given by the hotel, but keep your satnav on to keep track of where you are in the narrow streets.

Excellence location
The room was small, but it was neat and clean. The owners are a nice couple who make you feel you are a valued customer. The location is perfect for exploring and is only about a fifteen minute walk from the train station. If you arrive by train, I recommend a taxi the first time, as the place is a little hard to find. After that, you won't need one. If I ever visit Cordoba again, I would definitely stay at the Don Paula.

Highly recommended hotel which goes the extra mile
A small family run hotel which provides exceptional vaue for money. Great service from the moment we arrived. An elegant room, well resourced, including some complimentary drinks in a fridge. The hotel retains a distinctive character through its antique furnishings. Not an easy hotel to find because it is in the historical centre, which is a maze of one-way streets, each narrower than the last. However, the hotel sent some very helpful guidance in advance, including a YouTube recording which takes you through the final part of the journey. We are very keen to revisit the hotel!

This is a small hotel which seems like it is in the middle of nowhere. But actually it is very close to most of the places you want to visit. So getting to each is easy provided you have a map. Clean rooms, friendly staff. 5 minute walk will find a place for breakfast.

Small family hotel in the center if the old town. It was a amaze around the property but with the help of the sons who spoke enough English to help out in all circumstances we were easily able to find our way around.

Clean and comfortable hotel, centrally located.
A good, honest, hotel close to all the main attractions. We only stayed for one night on our tour of Andalucia but would've been very happy to stay longer. A good sized bedroom with a large en suite bathroom. The memory foam mattress ensured a good night's sleep. Can definitely recommend!
