"The property was fine for us. Had everything needed for a week long stay. Property lacked any character & was a bit bland decor-wise. The views were exceptional! The only issue was the extremely noisy water pump which meant we were unable to use the taps or toilet in the night as it woke everyone up! I wouldn’t stay again unless I knew that this had been fixed as it did spoil our enjoyment of the house."

"This is a very nice house and the description reflects it all. It is very conveniently located at the outskirts of L'Escala, very close to nice beaches and literally next door to the wonderful Empuries Museum. Vicinity of Empuries Hotel with very good cuisine and nice view over the seam is a plus. What surprised us negatively was that it was quite cold in the house when we arrived. "House was spacious and pool was good - although it would have benefitted from steps rather than a ladder. Much of the grounds and the house itself needs some money spent - like so many rental properties owners are happy to take the money but not to spend it updating their property. As an example the TV was probably 20 years old. The cutlery was similarly old. The pillows provided were pretty grim. All little things but they do impact on enjoyment. "The pool and the view correspond well to the photos, and are both very nice. Parking was easy even on a weekend in August. The ants are always around. Keeping food away helped against being inundated, but they were always around in the kitchen and we saw some everywhere else in the house too. We were 7 and slept comfortably, but note that there's only one bathroom."

There was only one medium towel each, no smaller towels for the bathroom or spare towels for swimming pool use and shower.
