The room we were given was not what we booked. When asked for the room we booked we were shown an incredibly run down version of it in a building that was undergoing repairs so we opted for the room they initially assigned. It costs $50000 UGX to get a ride to town so we felt a bit trapped but I’m sure people accustomed to resorts are used to this. The staff were excellent at the reception, house keeping and the serving staff. I enjoyed my 2 weeks stay there, And I recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, we were made to feel like family. They arranged a shoebill tour and a ride over to Entebbe and a taxi waiting for us. The highlight was having drinks by a fire listening to the frogs and watching the fireflies. It’s a pretty special place

This was a haven of rest after a busy trip. The hotel offer free transportation to the mall and the airport. One night there was a noisy event on the beach but it finished at 11pm Staff friendly for the most part. There was an unfortunate incident at the end which occurred because of miscommunication between Expedia and the hotel concerning check out time. Expedia told me 10pm and the hotel wanted to charge me an extra night as they said check out was 11am. I had a previously arranged shuttle...
