Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Kusin?
The best area to stay in Kusin is around the main lakefront, particularly near the centre of Kusin village.

This area is the heart of activity in Kusin, offering direct access to the lake. The main street, which runs parallel to the lake, features a selection of guesthouses, local eateries, and small shops. It's very walkable, with paths leading directly to the water's edge and the village's small marina.

Families will find this area particularly convenient. With the lake so close, children have easy access to swimming spots and opportunities for gentle water activities. Many accommodations here offer direct lake views or access to private jetties, making it simple to enjoy the natural surroundings without extensive travel.

For those seeking a quieter experience, the outskirts of Kusin village, slightly removed from the main lakefront, offer a more secluded stay.
When is the best time to go to Kusin?
The best time to go to Kusin is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and sunny, superb for enjoying the Baltic Sea coast.

During this period, the average daily temperatures range from 20°C to 25°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the surrounding nature. The days are also longer, providing more daylight hours for sightseeing and relaxation.

Families will find July and August particularly appealing due to the sea being at its warmest, which is excellent for children to play in. Many local attractions and events are also in full swing, offering entertainment for all ages.

Couples looking for a romantic getaway might prefer early June or late August.
