"A great place to stay with stunning views. There's a bus stop at the entrance so it's easy to get to Dachstein Krippenstein and Hallstatt. There's also a wharf close by with two transport options. The mini-market in the resort is well stocked with plenty of options for self-catering. The staff were very friendly and helpful and restaurant food was excellent."

"We had a wonderful stay at Chalet am Sonnehang. We stayed two nights, one in the second floor apartment which was lovely and then switched to the “tiny house” so we could have a fire in the wood stove. Nestled in the cozy cabin at night with the warming fire was a perfect alpine experience in sleepy Obertraun away from the busyness and crowds in Hallstatt! We would highly recommend staying here. The hosts were exceptional and very helpful. 😊"

"A great place to stay with stunning views. There's a bus stop at the entrance so it's easy to get to Dachstein Krippenstein and Hallstatt. There's also a wharf close by with two transport options. "This property is beautiful, however be aware that you need to pay for every little thing once on site. If you run out of soap, dishwasher pods, want clean towels, or in our case, need more toilet paper, it all costs extra. I don’t mind having to pay for some things, but I’ve never been asked to pay for toilet paper anywhere else in the world and I have to say, it slightly soured my experience. The property is beautiful and the staff were great, I just think for the price I should not have to buy my own toilet paper. "
