"The room was small but clean and nicely decorated. It contained all of the amenities I hope to have for an overnight: a microwave, fridge, hot water in the shower, and a working heater unit. This is a no frills motel but clean and a very good value for short stays. Lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby are a plus."

"I never got to check in. The door to office was open but staff was nonexistent. I rang the bell several times. I called the motel from my cell several times all to no avail. It will become a problem if I end up paying for the stay that didn't happen."

"Lovely, clean room with jacuzzi tub and shower and comfy bed with a surplus of pillows. Open, well-lit dining room with a solid menu and excellent service. The morning omelet and coffee were both excellent. The property is RIGHT next to the Saturday farmers' market, which was a blast. Live music later in the morning. Excellent bookstore (The Lion's Mouth) just a short walk away. The river walk is great – don't mess with the goslings, or their parents will grab you and your kids and give you PTSD – quiet, clean (except gosling droppings), and safe, so far as I can tell. The bar has Guiness, Jameson's, and Smithwick's: what else do you need, really?"
