"I booked this as it’s my birthday week. The owner was friendly, greets us every time we arrive. When we arrived he apologised as there’s a glitch where he can’t find our booking, but he still entertain us and gave us a free upgrade. We love the place and it’s a memorable experience, got a power outage for a day too. Well even there’s an unexpected power outage he still cares very much offered us waters and apologised for it. There’s a generator but electrical issue, not a big deal. Lastly got a...

Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Incredible! By far the best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying. We had a group of 25 and lots of younger children. Everything was amazing, the staff, the amenities, the entertainment, the whole vibe of the resort was incredible. The kids were so entertained, from morning to night. Kids club was available, however we did not use once as our kids loved the daily activities available! The staff were absolutely fantastic! They went above and beyond to provide such a fantastic atmosphere for everyone staying at resort. I cannot recommend this resort enough, especially for families. If you want to experience true Fijian culture, this is the place to be. We cannot wait to return, as 1 week was just not enough for us all. A true tropical paradise"

8/10 Good

"The staff are lovely and the provided meals were delicious. Access to lots of good activities at reasonable prices. The pool was fun though it does get a little cold, especially if windy. Bring wetsuits for kids. The rooms are nice but be aware they are all standalone with access via outdoor pathways and there is some distance between some of them - totally fine for adults but may or may not be suitable for young kids in their own room. The reef is very shallow at low tide and the villa applies a rule that guest may only access the reef two hours either side of high tide to protect the coral. So it’s important to plan around high tide if you want to snorkel or kayak. If high tide is in the afternoon when it can be very windy, it may not be pleasant. The coral just off the beach is beautiful and world class for snorkeling. Swim out about 2/3 of the way to the break for the best areas. The first 100 metres or so is shallow and not amazing but it gets incredible further out."

Maui Palms

10/10 Excellent

"It was our first stay in Fiji and Maui Palms was the most wonderful experience. The apartment, amenities and grounds were amazing. Being right on the beach was beautiful and we were able to do a lot of activities through the resort. Although the standout were all of the lovely friendly and helpful staff! We loved our stay and will definitely be back."

Kula Kai Villa in Fiji Paradise. Breathtaking Beachfront Views! Sleeps 15

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fabulous holiday with extended family having our own separate bedroom spaces all with ensuite bathrooms was wonderful. The staff we met were all great and Gavin went over and above to ensure everything we requested was arranged and any queries were responded to promptly. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The local shops were really close by and catered for most of our needs but advisable to stock up in Nadi prior to travelling down to Maui Bay . The new store Food Villa in Nadi was fantastic, highly recommend shopping there."

8/10 Good

"We had a nice time at this resort which provided us with plenty of space to lounge about. We visited during the windy season so the kayaking and snorkelling wasn't ideal, but the variety of fish life was pretty good (we even spotted a small reef shark). The pool was surprisingly quite cool ... a little too cold for us most days but the reef is nice and warm! Best part was the cooking from chef Jay as his food is delicious and priced very fairly compared to the surrounding large resorts. The resort is within convenient walking distance of a few basic restaurants and a small supermarket for essentials. We didn't rent a car but would recommend doing so, as the cost of airport transfers and getting around with Immy's Tours was very expensive and in retrospect, not worth it."

Tambua Sands Beach Resort - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"We stayed in a plunge pool room and the room and view are amazing, if you can, I'd recommend highly. The amenities are standard, nothing flashy which suited our needs. All the staff were top tier, couldn't say enough nice things about them. The problem does arise when it comes to food and beverage. The included breakfast is subpar (and I'm being polite). Was stuck having toast with jam all week. I attempted to order from the menu one morning and had the most disgusting looking french toast I've ever seen. Raw, not uncooked. Raw. To make it worse, they dumped the soupy egg mix on top of the bread and attempted to serve it too me. When I refused in an attempt to eat it and asked for it to be taken back, I witnessed the manager and waiter arguing over it. I don't know what was said, it made me uncomfortable."
