The best thing of this place is the beach, really quiet and fabulous sunset. Friendly and helpful staff. Few things let us down a bit which are : first we got a tradional hut, where there was no air conditioning ( it was 40* outside) and the water pressure was practically zero, so make sure when u book, u get the nice bungalow. We had a welcome drink included, which they refused to give to us.

The location is great. There are shops and restaurants, the bungalows are at the beach, but not very clean, bungalows are not is great condition, i barely saw any stuff around and no welcome drink at the check in even tho it was advertised.

Great place to stay...
A lovely location right on the beach with charming, albeit a little tired, bungalows. The staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating... with one exception: the Receptionist. Her cold indifference and lack of follow up was disappointing. But not enough to taint what was a wonderful experience.

Great locale but bathroom updates needed.
Enjoyed my stay at Seetanu other than the fact that the bathroom door is a glass sliding door you can see through. I'm not sure why the romantic bungalow has a see-thru door, there is nothing romantic about wanting to use the bathroom but having your friend/partner be able to watch you use the bathroom. They need to put a proper door there. Also, water pressure was very low in the shower and water was freezing cold, which I know it's Thailand but in December it's not exactly super hot out so the cold shower doesn't feel refreshing. I would stay here again b/c of the beach location and the nice bar area, but I would not pay for this room again, too much money for the bathroom issues.

Amazing location and food!!
I totally recommend the food at the restaurant because it’s simply amazing! The area it’s really quiet but you can easily rent motorbikes and find 7 eleven/family market at just few minutes walk. The bungalow was spacious, clean and in good conditions. The staff is really helpful and smiley :)

Horrible experience
Horrible had a burger in their expensive restaurant and was violently ill as not cooked thru properly went next morning to tell them and they were rude and dismissive and wouldn't even agree to tell chef he needs to make sure food cooked thru. No offer of recompense. My friend asked to borrow wine glass so she could have a drink on her balcony and was refused and told she was not to bring her own food or drink into the resort! Good location near beach but my hut had slow wifi mosquitos and bathroom only half tiled the rest grey ugly concrete . Management rude uncaring and only after squeezing extra money from guests .not reccommended

Good value for money
We booked this hotel with no real knowledge of what koh pahgnan was about. All hotels are very basic over here and this was one of the best we felt. Can’t go wrong for the money. Staff v helpful. Room basic and clean but being on the beach be prepared for creepy crawlies and mosquitoes!! Nothing can be done about this really - not a fault of the place itself. We would recommend the bbb restaurant/bar to ANYONE. Was 5* amazing 😊😊😊 best part: being on beach. suggestions for improvement: less strict rules on check in - made us feel like school children; free/discounted transfer to and from ferry ports; tea/coffee making facilities in room.

truly fabulous service & amazingly friendly people
amazing atmosphere here. would highly recommend. the bar and restaurant have a great choice of delicious food and the staff are very friendly and helpful. pool is nice and quiet and sunsets on the beach are breathtaking.

I booked and paid for a romantic bungalow beachfront in advance, after checking the location, pictures everything seemed fine. Actually we agreed check in next day but without any refund for the first night. That would have been understandable if they still gave us the same room which i booked, the owner decided to sell our room the night we didnt stay so i saw at reception the change of room with pen. The room we were given was some meters behind beachfront and since this is not what i booked for i decided to talk to the owner who only came and shortly said sorry i cannot help you this room is the same category. Its understandable they have rules so you cannot eat in the room, totally fine with me, but when my gf politely asked for a plate an a knife to cut a watermelon (outside the room of course) the owner replied: what are you thinking? I dont know where you stayed before or if is normal in your country but i cannot provide you with that. After seeing such a poisonous service we only wanted to go away from such place. If you are looking for such customer service runned by an arrogant French-Belgian man this is your best choice. It was raining and water got into the room. The water pressure in the bathroom is worse than showering in the soft rain. Here im attaching pictures of the room we were staying and the category you can find here. Do not leave your scooter in their parking as is not monitored, ours was stolen by the rental owners and then replaced with other scooter

Great bungalows!
I would highly recommend Seetanu to anyone, perfect for families, great amenities, wonderful pools and lovely food! On the beach and beautiful sunsets too!

Budget bungalow good for a short stay
Location was great ...... room was a good size for 2 people. Needed a proper clean though. Towels need to be new as some were very threadbare and had to be taken back.

Average accommodation in an outstanding location
I chose to stay in the Privilege Front Beach bungalow which is on the beach with breathtaking views. The bungalow is very basic and dated internally. There are two rooms, each with a bed, but there is no door between them. The bathroom is a wet room. It has basic facilities including a safe and air conditioning but the latter activates a small bright light when in use which may affect your sleep. The selling point of Seetanu Bungalows is the location. It is on a picturesque quiet beach which never has more than a handful of people. It is primarily pure white sand with a thin strip of very small stones just before the water but it does not detract from the beach in any way. The sea is turquoise with virtually no seaweed. The sunsets are beyond description. As an aside, if you are a vegetarian/vegan, the location is even better as it is a 5 minute scooter ride to Srithanu where the majority of vegetarian restaurants on the island are located. The wifi connection was very poor in terms of speed and connectivity. A television was provided but it could only play DVDs (DVD player is provided). The shower pressure was very weak and little more than a trickle. Breakfast was not provided (I knew this in advance but it is unacceptable considering the price). Despite always keeping the door closed, I found two cockroaches and two lizards in my room. Room serving must be requested (no complaints there) but I came home one day to find the maids in my room when I had not requested them.

The perfect hideaway!
My time to chill after several days of action and adventure and what a perfect place in which to do so. The staff were very friendly, helpful and happy to cater to my every need. One of whom, the beautiful Ole, even showing me around town after she finished work. Massage on the beach, chilling in hammock on my balcony, great food, great people.

Sehr abgewohnt und dafür viel zu teuer
Die Bungalows sind in keinem guten Zustand. Als Bett werden einfach 2 Matratzen übereinander gelegt. Es wurde nur jeden 2. Tag gereinigt. Auch der Eimer für das Toilettenpapier wird nicht täglich geleert. Wir hatten Nachts tierischen Besuch im Dachstuhl. Die Ausstattung des Badezimmers lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Für den Zustand ist diese Unterkunft maßlos überteuert.

Location Fantastic
We had a great stay at Seetanu for 2weeks Xmas 22, and have also been here on earlier stay at the island. Seetanu has a fantastic location by the water, and the tree garden surrounding the bungalows is beautiful with lots of plants and flowers. Our bungalow was of basic kind with a fan and no air con (not that you need on really), but had all we needed except for a maybe a fridge. Warm water in the shower, and mosquito net over the bed and fantastic sea view. You can pretty much get anything you need in the restaurant but if they can't help, 7eleven is a short walk from the resort to main road. Their location is close to both Had Yao and Srithanu with a bunch of restaurants and bars to choose from. The staff at Seetanu are professional, speak English very well, are really nice and offer great service and offered help to our very request. We will be back and recommend strongly...

Hôtel très bien placé plage super très belle rencontre avec nop notre guide excursion mais dommage que le côté commercial du ressort prenne le dessus sur le côté bienveillant qu l on attend d un voyage en famille ( il nous ont fait payé une tasse d eau chaude pour un petit dej pour un enfant allergique au lait dont nous avions son régime alimentaire !!!)

Mäuse und Tiere überall
Wir waren im Sommer 2019 in der Villa und können nur sagen: nie wieder! Zum einen hat das Sofa gestunken, dass man kaum darauf sitzen konnte. Weiter kam aus der Dusche kaum Wasser und wenn, dann nur kalt oder feurig heiss. Das schlimmste waren jedoch die Tiere in dieser Unterkunft. Man hatte nicht nur Eidechsen und Tausendfüssler als Mitbewohner, es rannten auch mehrmals Mäuse durch die Zimmer. Zudem hat man diese Mäuse in der Nacht jeweils in den Wänden und unter dem Dach gehört, so dass man kaum schlafen konnte. Als wir wegen dieser Missstände einen Tag früher als geplant abreisten und die Betreiber auf die Probleme aufmerksam machte, hat man nicht mal darauf reagiert, geschweige ein Rückerstattung gewährleistet.

Fantastique
Accueil chaleureux accompagné d’un verre de bienvenue très agréable. Un bungalow avec vue sur mer spacieux, très propre et au calme. Le personnel est très attentif et aux petits soins. Ils vous débarrasse sans attendre des visiteurs non désirés. Voyageant seule et en saison calme, ils m’ont rapidement trouvé une solution pour me permettre de faire un tour guidé de l’ile. C’etait Super bien. Petit bémol, il n’ y a rien pour pouvoir faire sécher une chose ou l’autrre sur la terrasse. Rv elle t séjour, j’y reviendrai sans problème.

Waren zu sechst mit 4 Kindern dort. Sehr schöner gepflegter Strand mit netter Bar. Das eigene Restaurant hat sehr leckeres Essen. Die Familienvilla ist zu empfehlen und der Pool ist um die Ecke. An der Einfahrt zum Hotel gibt es zwei Supermärkte und viele weitere Restaurants. Desweiteren gibt es auch einen Roller- und Autoverleih.

Cadre magnifique mais établissement très décevant
Cadre magnifique avec une superbe plage presque déserte. Néanmoins l'état de propreté des bungalows (choses brunes tombant du plafond, cafards morts dans les coins de la pièce) et l'antipathie des tenanciers européens gâchent clairement la beauté du lieu. Même si on peut accepter le côté rustique d'un bungalow on ne peut pas accepter sa saleté. Durant notre séjour en Thaïlande de deux semaines, c'était de loin l'établissement le mieux noté et le plus cher qu'on ait réservé et pourtant c'est dans celui où nous avons été le plus mal reçu, par des tenanciers (ou leur fils) arrogants et peu sympathiques. Nous retournerons définitivement à Koh Phangan mais pas dans cet établissement, dommage vu la qualité de la plage et la beauté du paysage...

Air conditionné nécessaire, ventilateur insuffisant. On a eu bp trop chaud, même en aérant avant le coucher. Resto trop cher, pour 350 Bths, un cordon bleu. A 300m, pour le même prix, on a un baracuda frais cuit au barbecue(Resto italien) A 200m, pour moins cher, une excellente shushuka (Resto Tattoun). Le café en traversant la route est au quart du prix. Prix maximum pour tous les services. La biere belge hors de prix. La seule bière thaïlandaise ayant du goût n'est pas sur la carte (Tigher). Très bel environnement et belle piscine. On a eu le bungalow le plus usagé du complexe.

Bästa hotellet/bungalows på ön!
Reste med min sambo för avslappning. Toppen fint hotell med en av de finaste stränderna på ön precis vid boendet. Toppen service och jättegod mat på hotellets restaurang. Ett tips är att hyra moped om man vill ta sig till ställen där det är lite mer liv då det är väldigt lugnt här men det kan man få hjälp med av personalen här, samma med utflykter. Poolen är fräsch och likaså rummen. Hit kommer vi tillbaka.

Dejlig uge på Seetanu
Den uge på Seetanu bungalows, var dejlig.Hele personalet undtagen den kvindelige manager var supersøde. Vi købte dejlig veltillavet mad. De sælger foruden alm. Øl også belgisk øl. Vores bungalow var fin og der blev gjort fint rent hver dag, og vi fik rene håndklæder til ude og inde hver dag. Vi manglede dog en tørresnor. Stranden var suværen med fint sand.

Schöne Bungalow Anlage am Strand
Seetanu Bungalows kann ich wirklich empfehlen. Es ist eine nette Anlage mit unterschiedlich ausgestatteten Bungalows, machen alle einen sehr guten gepflegten Eindruck. Wir hatten den Authentic Fan Bungalow mit Gartenblick, der zentral in der Anlage positioniert liegt, total idyllisch im Garten und sozusagen in zweiter Reihe zum Strand. Es sind ca. 25 m zum Strand. Der zugehörige Strandabschnitt ist übrigens unserer Meinung nach der optisch beste Abschnitt am ganzen Haad Chaopao. Es ist wirklich sehr schön da. Der Strand wird morgens täglich gereinigt und gepflegt. Es sind einige Liegen für die Gäste vorhanden. Schwimmen ist sehr gut möglich, natürlich bei Ebbe etwas eingeschränkt. Die Ausstattung im Bungalow ist praktisch und einfach und gut, auf Klimaanlage haben wir bewusst verzichtet. Der Bungalow wurde täglich gereinigt und die Handtücher ausgetauscht. Das Restaurant ist gut, es gibt die üblichen Frühstück Varianten und guten Kaffee. Abends gibt's Thai oder Western Food, es ist wirklich gute Küche. Und wer mag, kann neben den Thai Bieren noch eine große Auswahl an belgischen Bieren geniessen. Die Betreiber der Anlage sind aus Belgien, sie sind sehr nett und sympathisch. Und Karo am Empfang kümmert sich um viele Fragen, wenn man ein Anliegen hat, wird geholfen, oder sie organisiert Tickets oder Motorroller usw. Das Personal im Restaurant war generell sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Also wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden!

Bungalow direkt beim Strand
In unserem Bungalow hatten wir eine Hängematte. Die Hotelanlage besteht aus vielen Palmen. Das Restaurant bietet viel westliches und gutes essen zu guten Preisen.
