This hotel is extremely well managed with excellent service from the staff. I was amazed at how cheap the hotel was to stay there. The rooms have spectacular sea views and are roomy and well appointed.

Halycon occupies a beautiful location on Mawella beach. The toom was spacious, comfortable and had a lovely sea view.

Ended up being pleasantly surprised by this stay. Nice large newly renovated bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Nice big room.

The team preparing our meals was attentive and clearly took pride in their work, creating an exceptional Sri Lankan breakfast that showcased local flavors beautifully. We also enjoyed the dinner option, which was well-prepared and satisfying. Every request we had was met with a smile and genuine willingness to help. Our room was spacious, clean, and had breathtaking views overlooking Kandy — a perfect spot to unwind. The addition of a private hot tub was an unexpected luxury that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The lush gardens surrounding the property made the entire place feel peaceful and inviting. It was the ideal setting to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. We would absolutely recommend Theva Residency to anyone visiting Kandy.
