Booked hotel last minute. disappointed with the booking experience. was using Expedia and during the time it took me to figure out where we were and how close the hotel was and to us and actually booking(15 minutes) the price of the hotel jumped ALOT. I assume this was due to the demand of hotels in the area. A tornado had just hit nearby communities(resulting in our rental home being inaccessible and possibly damaged) and all the hotels were filling up.
