I pulled up to hotel. All the employees and family members were sitting outside smoking and drinking. Then my check in took 30 minutes that’s another orbitz Review. We finally got a room and it was filled with tons of paint brushed paint cans and tarp laying all round. We had to go back to desk to tell what’s going on with room. This took another 20 minutes before staff came with another room key. Not to mention it’s about 11pm and I’m exhausted So we get in new room and about 15 min in a family of roaches came crawling . I guess they double booked our room lol. Then we were handed 3 of the dingiest bath towel I have ever seen. No soap or tp. This place needs to be shut down !!!!!! Unacceptable. Maybe corporate should stay at this hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is the nice lady at the front counter. I am 80, use a cane and it's difficult for me to get around. I was assigned a 2nd floor room - my fault for not mentioning my handicap (I'll be sure to request this in the future). The 2 women who worked there were excellent at helping me get everything I needed to the room. The room was nothing special but it was clean and I can't complain, considering the cost. Since I lost my husband in March '18 my traveling had been quite reduced. As a result, cleanliness and amenities suffer. The redeeming factor is that the staff were very friendly, and willing to do what they could to make you feel welcome. There was a mixup in my online reservation, but they were able to get me in a room and resolved the issue without any headaches. They were unsavory looking people. We walked to our room which was in the back of the building & it was very dark back there. We got into the room & stuff was broken, it smelled like mold & cat urine. We felt dirty & unsafe. Unfortunately we couldn’t afford to go somewhere else. We pushed the table up against the door for extra protection. And we also kept our flip flops on while walking around the room.
