It is situated only metres from the beautiful Fintra Bay Blue flag beach. The cottage feature a large living/dining area with an open fireplace for cosy evenings. All the other rooms in the cottage lead off from this room. The garden overlooks the beach and is a fantastic space to relax and listen to the waves or even have a BBQ. The location is ideal for exploring South West Donegal, the nearby sea cliffs of Slieve League, and the other beautiful nearby beaches and country walks. Donegal Town is about 30 minutes drive away and the fishing port of Killybegs is less than 10 minutes away. Its a 0.5 mile sand track and is full off deep holes 3 mph max. Its not the cleanest place with spiders webs and mould (they charge 70 for cleaning) dont know why.On the plus side. The beach is 30 seconds walk, the view is breathtaking. We relaxed, played games, read, talked around the open fire, swam, walked and just chilled. No tv, no screens (although there is Wi-Fi), we detached from the phones and iPads and let our brains breathe. Will be booking again for next year or maybe even during winter. Tony and John were so helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Can not fault the cottage or the area.
