Gateway to Killarney

Located only a stroll from Killarney town centre, this spacious two bed is situated in a mature quiet cul de sal. It is ideal for outdoor adventurists, with Killarney national park on our doorstep, trailheads, mountain hikes, kayaking, cycling and much more.

For those social occasions, Killarney boasts some of the best restaurants and cafe's you will find, after which there is the option to settle into one of our numerous pubs and enjoy a social pint and some great traditional music.

Looking for a romantic weekend away, we have you covered. A fully equipped kitchen, the large tv screen enables a cinematic experience as you wine, dine and relax indoors.

For the kids, we have playgrounds, wooded trails for kids to explode, horse drawn carts, a pet farm, a water park.

There is three supermarkets and a cafe located within 300 meters of the home.

There really is no place quiet like our little town and we would be honered to host you during your stay

Séjour réconfortant et dynamique à killarney

Très belle maison, spacieuse, très propre, bien équipée.De la place pour se garer tranquillement devant.Bien située juste à la limite de la ville pour accéder facilement aux endroits intéressants ( killarney Park, kerry ring…)Et avec les idées de randonnées et de découvertes de Bernard, dans la région et même plus loin.Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour.

Maison complète bien équipée sur deux étages (chambres au 2ième). Propre, hyper tranquille (secteur résidentiel), à proximité d'une épicerie et de la gare de train (20 minutes à pied). Le propriétaire (Bernard) nous a fourni toutes les informations requises avant notre arrivée et tout s'est déroulé comme prévu. Très content de notre séjour, si l'occasion se représente, nous y retournerons!

Bernard’s property was a home away from home. It had everything we needed for our 5 nights in Killarney. It’s very close to an Aldi, a large Tesco, M&S and a Mountain Warehouse. We were without a car, but a quick 15 minute walk gets you to the center of town. There is a lovely view of the park from one of the upstairs bedrooms, and there is plenty of space for all your belongings if you wish to unpack.Bernard is very communicative and helpful. He explains everything in the house, and he offers wonderful suggestions for the surrounding area. He is definitely the best host I’ve ever rented from. I truly hope to return to the area one day and stay here again. I will recommend it to all my traveling friends!

The house was very clean and very well-equipped. The location is very quiet and safe, yet perfectly situated for reaching the city center on foot in a short time. Shopping facilities are also nearby. The landlord is very friendly, offered many helpful tips, and was always available to assist. Even when we forgot something after our departure, a solution was found very quickly. In short: everything was excellent!

Bernard was a most attentive and welcoming host, providing us with so much information both before and during our stay. The accommodation itself was also delightful and so well equipped. One of the best rental home experiences we have had. Bernard, the host communicated with us before, during and after our stay. He provided a lot of helpful information for things to do and places to eat in and around the Killarney area. He even provided a detail list for breakfast, lunch, dinner and also pubs. He provided detailed information for accessing the apartment including videos of how to access the keys from the lock box, using the tv, etc. We just wish the apartment was a little closer to downtown Killarney. Though this is no fault of the owner. The listing is accurate about the location. Bedrooms and bathroom are located up a flight of stairs from the main living area. Just keep that in mind if you have mobility issues with heavy luggage.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Bernard's property. Bernard was so communicative and available for questions through Whatsapp, and provided us with numerous tips for making the most of our time in Ireland. The flat itself was an easy 15 minutes or so walk from the main shops in Killarney, so we were close enough to walk to town without the loudness that comes with it. There was also an Aldi and pharmacy a quick skip away. Street parking was easy right out front. The unit was well stocked too and Bernard provided video descriptions for everything. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Outstanding property. The accommodations and the host could not have been better. It was very clean, comfortable decor, the bed was comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and parking is right outside the door. Bernard provided lots of suggestions of places to go and things to do. Superb Killarney base

The property was exactly as seen/explained. Great location for spending a few days exploring the area. Bernard was an excellent host providing advice and information about Killarney and places to visit, routes to take etc that we found very useful. The weather was not excellent for our stay so the additional advice re walks, things to do was useful. The property was clean, comfortable and well maintained providing all the essentials needed. Unfortunately we never met Bernard in person but the advice given was always prompt and comprehensive. We would certainly recommend using this property when visiting the area

Tolles Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Wir, zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder, waren zwei Tage in diesem Ferienhaus zu Gast. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet, mehrere Supermärkte, Takstelle, etc. in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zur Innenstadt mit vielen Pubs und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind es ca. 2 Km.Das Ferienhaus ist schön eingerichtet und sauber. Unser Gastgeber Bernhard war ausserordentlich nett und hilfsbereit bei Tourenvorschlägen, etc.. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Ready to come again and invite our friends!

First and foremost Bernard is the PERFECT and ATTENTIVE host!!! It's no wonder why he gets 5 stars every time. Quick to respond and FULL OF RECOMMENDATIONS! Because we were from the US, and it was after 9pm, there weren't any options for places to eat. However, he gave us suggestions all the way until we safely made it to the house. We were able to pick up some take and bake meals from a nearby grocery store and then he walked us through how to use the oven there. (MUCH different than the one in the states!) He gave us the perfect pub to attend for live, traditional Irish music! The house is adorable and equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. The surrounding neighborhood is safe and his neighbor eagerly helped up open the door. Bernard sent videos for several of the items you might need at the home. I recommend getting the What's App if you are from the US and need to make contact outside of emails. It is odd that none of the bathrooms in Ireland appear to have outlets for dryers or curling irons and the beds do not have top sheets, just a fitted sheet and blanket. My only suggestions for our host would be metal vs plastic spatulas, stainless steel pans vs teflon pans, and a pour over vs coffee press. Otherwise, this was a PERFECT location. I wish we could have spent a WEEK here! OH! One last thing...guests should know that the bedrooms are on the second floor (in case you have heavy bags)! Definitely not a dealbreaker but a fact you may want

We had a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Killarney. Bernard, the host was always accessible, responsive and gave us some very good information, i.e. places to visit, restaurants, lockbox instructions, etc. He also provided videos on how to work the T.V. remote, the heating system, and waste/recycling information. Bedrooms were a very good size and equipped with queen size beds, it was very clean and comfortable. Parking was a bonus!

The residence was well equipped and spotlessly clean on arrival. Lovely comfortable beds with blackout blindscurtains. Quiet location. On short notice!

We had to change our plans due to a severe storm. Our booked property had no power, and we were made aware of the situation with 24 hour notice. Great stay.

This property was clean, well-equipped, and convenient to the central business district, while still offering peaceful surroundings. The owner, Bernard, was extremely helpful, responsive, and communicative, offering us great suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area. We were met at the property upon our arrival, and provided with a helpful briefing. Only one bathroom, but we knew that going in and it worked just fine for our small group of four. Great value for very nice accommodations.
