Strolling the grounds of this low-rise property, you'll discover tropical gardens, two pools (the lower pool is heated), a pool spa, tennis courts, and barbecue areas. Comfortably and elegantly furnished, this home provides many perks that include free high-speed WiFi, free cable TV, a DVD player, a washer/dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen. In-room safes are available. The spacious lanai offers spectacular views and a true taste of Hawaiian living. This property does not include elevators. From stains on the carpet everywhere, ants and dusty furniture, the property has seen better days. Perhaps the worst of it all was hair on the bathroom floors and towels when we checked in. The unit was very clean( including the carpets) and overall comfortable for our family of 4\. The unit isn’t as updated as some others but is close for walking down to the beach. The appliances are basic and the kitchen has most items. Upon arrival there were only two beach towels in the unit, a call to Vacasa remedied the shortage immediately. The Lanai makes the unit with a beautiful view of the ocean for watching sunsets and spouting whales. I would definitely rent this condo again. ##### Nicole H. We appreciated the ability to cook, and of course we had much more room than we would have had in a hotel. The Maui Kamaole location (across from the boat ramp in Kihei) was very good for us, but be aware it\`s helpful to have a car, or be accustomed to long walks. \`Downtown Kihei\` if there is one, is a short drive North, but a pretty long walk. We were 2.2 miles North of our Luau in Wailea--a little less to the shops of Wailea. We were also 2.5 miles South of Kihei Cafe, to give you an example of common distances. We were within sight, though, of the southern-most Kamaole Beach Park, so it\`s not as though everything required driving. It has easy access to the main road (but no noise), quick access to the pool, one parking spot, community grills, and beach toys (snorkels, body boards, beach chairs, beach towels, etc.).
