שהות בבית המלון היה נחמד, חוץ מרמת שירות שפחות מתאימה למלון 5 כוכבים. ביקשנו כוס פרוסקו בארוחת הבוקר כמו שמגישים בכל בית מלון 5 כוכבים בעולם. הביאו לנו איזה משקה מוגז מאוד מר ולא אהבנו, במקום לתת לאורח להרגיש טוב ולהביא לו מה שהוא מבקש - הנהלה פשוט התעלמו ואמרו שזה מה יש אצלם. מיני בר בחדר ריק לחלוטין- אין כלום בפנים.

Hotel is a bit old, desperately needs modern design and features. Window in my room was blowing cold air and it was noisy. Overall quality was ju ok but not for a 5 star hotel.

This is hands down the best luxury hotel in Kyiv. Staff and amenities are AWESOME! Breakfast is the best. Could not ask for me. Get a club room with cathedral view. Worth every penny! If you want to be amazed, stay at the Intercontinental.

Very Good
It's a very nice hotel!! We picked this hotel because it had an indoor pool and we were not disappointed. The water was about 30°C (86°F) and we had it all to ourselves. The room was nice, not spectacular, but nice. The food delivered by room service was good. Our room was on the 8th floor and had a spectacular view. The location is awesome. I'd stay here again.

location and staff were super attentive the facilities were great and the food was nice. The concierge was very helpful the reception was very accommodating. The valet and driver was and excellent the room was clean and always served.

Very disappointing level of service - consistently
First, the positive: This hotel was in a fantastic location for some of the major tourist sites, and the rooftop bar has good views. The gym was also fine (although down a bit of a rabbit warren!), and our room was comfortable with very quiet, non-aggressive air-conditioning. They also provided a nice birthday cake & bottle of prosecco. Sadly, the service in the hotel was so consistently bad that it marred the entire experience. 1) They failed to send our pre-booked and confirmed car to pick us up from the airport for our 2.15am landing (we ended up waiting 45 minutes in arrivals, having to phone them twice because they failed to call back with an update), meaning we eventually got to the hotel at 4am, despite it being only 15 minutes away! To make it worse, they hadn't even pre-arranged to remove the charge from our bill, so checkout took 15 minutes while they worked through it - really very annoying. 2) We made an advance dinner reservation made for a birthday celebration, which we re-confirmed with the concierge. And yet, when we arrived in the torrential rain at the restaurant, they had no record of it. We got really lucky that there was a no-show, or our evening would have been ruined. 3) No shower gel was replaced in our room, so we called to ask for more. We returned to our room to find a huge bag filled with more mini toiletries than anyone could use, but no shower gel! This is an expensive, 5* hotel and we expected significantly more - very disappointing.

Luxury and Location in Kiev
The Intercontinental Hotel, Kiev, is luxurious and very well located (next door to stunningly beautiful St. Michael's, about two blocks to Independence Square). Our room was well equipped and well maintained. We enjoyed drinks and snacks in both the lobby bar and the rooftop bar (stunning views). We also enjoyed the pool and spa and I had an expert massage. The concierge helped us obtain opera tickets and taxis. All staff members spoke English very well. The breakfasts were outstanding!

Pay attention to a notification of a food allergy!
I am a loyal customer of Intercontinental hotels, and until my final day of a recent stay in Kiev, everything was up to the normal, high standards. On my final night I ordered room service and very clearly informed them of a food allergy (a condiment), and I repeated it to make sure they understood. When the dinner arrived, I saw that they had ignored my advice about the condiment entirely. I was shocked that they could be so complacent about something that could have landed me in hospital (or worse). Eventually the meal was replaced, and they offered me a free dessert, but this episode left me really disappointed with IHC.
