Updated, Beautiful Views, Walk to Slopes & Village

Red Hawk Lodge is one of the most desirable properties in River Run. Walk just 100 yards to the high-speed gondola for winter skiing, spring and summer picnics, or autumn leaf viewing. A short stroll also takes you to the numerous shops, festivals, and restaurants in River Run Village. (Yes, there is a Starbucks!)

If solitude is more your speed, you will appreciate the peaceful setting of this Red Hawk Lodge condominium. This is a top floor, unit with vaulted ceilings. The spa and pool area borders pristine wetlands at the foot of the mountain, adjacent to a paved hiking/biking trail, which connects all of Keystone's villages. The property also boasts a fitness center and private ski lockers.

This two-bedroom, two-bath unit with a pull-out living room sofa comfortably sleeps five.

Our property is perfect for those of you who love skiing and the outdoors, who want to be close to the action but away from the noise, and who appreciate fine accommodations and amenities for an affordable price.

Awesome condo with an unbeatable location

The condo was exactly as advertised and is perfect for skiing Keystone. It's a short walk to the gondola, short walk to Keystone village and if you have a car a short drive to anything you want. (Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco, etc.) Not only is this place great if you just want to do Keystone, but if you choose to ski other areas many are only a 20-40 minute drive. It is also hard to beat the view with the mountains outside of your window and the sunrise coming over them every day. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great ski vacation!

Great Place, Convenient Location

Short walk to everything. Great view and quiet. The pool and hot tubs are in slight view from the deck. Quick elevator ride and you're at the hot tubs which were very nice. Beds are very firm (which we like). Would like to stay here again in the future.

Great Location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the gondola and River Run. Plenty of room for our group of 5 and has all the necessary amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place, even though resort closed :(

Perfect location--gondola, ski school, and River Run Village are literally across the parking lot. Great heated pool, two hot tubs, and a steam room. Lots of families hanging out in game room. Will come back--but next time we want to ski! :)

Great Location for Downhill Skiing

The property is just a short walk to River Run Gondola at Keystone. And we enjoyed the flexibility of being so close. However couple of things can be improved. Owner was awesome in answering all of our questions. The listing could be clearer about parking (only 1 space for this unit in the covered underground parking), and the beds are Queen and a Full with a pullout. The listing says 6 people, but only if the the others are small children. Even then it could be tight. Checking in instructions could be elaborated - pull vehicle over and Park temporarily across the street in the circle. Walk over to the lockbox that is in the North Building of the RedHawk. Look for the wooden box and the lockbox that says unit 2303. Open the lockbox using the code provided. Take the keycards and use one of it to open the underground garage door. Taking over an hour to checkin was not fun!

Great property!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay in this condo that is cozy and very comfortable. It's walking distance to the gondola, ski lifts, as well as River Run Village. Our family of four also enjoyed the pool table in the lobby. We visit Keystone every winter and we would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

Location was great, condo was clean. The only complaints we had is because only one elevator in the building was working and it made for an extended wait time getting to and from anywhere in the building and the refrigerator froze almost all of our food.

Nice unit but poorly maintained.

We have stayed at Red Hawk at least a half a dozen times and have been coming to Keystone for over 15 years. We always enjoy our time there. This trip was no exception but this particular rental was not problem free. We rented this unit for 11 days and after the first couple of days we realized the microwave was not always working and began failing more frequently. We called the “Book by Owner” management service and was told that the service request would be submitted to the owner and that they would notify us of when a repair would be made. Book by Owner did not call us back and then we could not reach them via phone call. We left voicemails but no one returned our call. We received a text message the following day that the owner would replace the microwave after our stay. We sent a text requesting a temporary countertop and the response, “use the oven to warm food”. Not only did this waste a tremendous amount of energy, it cut into our vacation time. We understand that equipment fails, but choosing to not repair or replace an item that is used as much as a microwave quickly or supply a temporary replacement negatively affected our time in the unit. We also did not receive any of the promised follow up from Book by Owner. I will not rent this unit again based on the poor reaction of this management company to resolve a simple problem. Besides the problem with the microwave the dishwasher would not function unless in “Light Wash” mode, some of the light fixtures would not turn on/off. These are not significant repairs but they are needed.

Made for a perfect Christmas on the slopes

We enjoyed our stay at Red Hawk 2303. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. The pull out couch is actually very comfortable as were all the beds. The unit was clean and quiet. We spent Christmas in Keystone and the kids are saying they want to go back next year.

Great location to slopes, has all the amenities!

Condo is a 5 min walk to pretty much all of River Run Village, including gondola and Summit Express lift. Ski lockers were accessible, lobby includes pool table and games for kids, and the pool and hot tub were nice. The condo was very clean upon arrival and we enjoyed the fireplace and balcony. We will definitely come back!

Very cozy and a great location. We loved the views from the condo and the amenities as well!

Our family loved the condo and the great atmosphere of the River Run village. It was the perfect place for our family to walk back to for lunch and we enjoyed the use of the pool and the games in the lobby. The included parking made it easy to use our car which was important for heading to Lakeside Village. The fireplace was our favorite part of the condo as it kept us warm during the cold days we were at Keystone! Thanks!

A good unit thoughtfully set up

First let me say that 4-stars from me is like 5 from anyone else...it's hard to squeeze 5 out of me. This unit is typical of the Red Hawk but with a couple of major advantages: first, it is hard by the elevator, That's great when you come from sea level. Second, they didn't knee-jerk install king-size beds so you can actually walk around in the rooms. Big Plus. And it's right next to the laundry. As all Red Hawk units it is a bit interior lighting challenged which is mostly a problem in mid-December. And unfortunately there isn't a lot a drawer space so you end up living out of the suitcase a bit. As far as cooking and dining goes, they've pretty much got anything you'll need and in quantity. To boot, there's a toaster that actually toasts, a rarity in many units. I'll also add that it felt pretty much like home up there - largely because they have the same Reidel wine glasses I have! Very good quality TV's as well. Roomy fridge, good cooktop and oven, big microwave. Overall a solid choice.

We were in keystone for a wedding and had never been here before. This place was very comfortable and nice and in a great location. Loved the view from the bedroom, living room, and back deck. It was in a perfect location for our needs. We were very happy with our stay.

Awesome views and very homey!

We really enjoyed staying here for our vacation. The view out the balcony was beautiful and the condo was well equipped. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The only negative is that the sofa and bed pillows need to be replaced. They are very flat and not comfortable. A few extra bed pillows would be great too. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful place!

Nice location. Minor maintenance issues.

In Town for wedding. We stayed (two adult couples) at this condo from 2-10 thru 2-12. Liked the location which is close to shops, restaurants and the gondola. We did not ski. The unit was comfortable for a party of four. However there were some minor maintenance issues at the unit. Specifically toilet seats were stained and need to be replaced. Kitchen faucet was dripping, master bath vanity faucet is loose and needs to be tightened. Bed linens are old with holes in sheets and bedspread. On another note it would be nice to have a larger bed in the guest bedroom. A little small for two adults. There was also an annoying sound in the guest bedroom. Not sure what the source was. I have rented several units thru VRBO with similar ratings and I don't think this unit stacked up to those.
