The Timbers on River Run is a premier ski-in/ski-out complex with exceptional amenities, including a pool with indoor access, a hot tub, a steam room and a sauna. The living room boasts upscale furniture, abundant open space, and a large flat-screen TV above a stunning gas fireplace. Two large professionally designed closets for ski and snowboard equipment storage are conveniently located near the entryway. Adjacent to the living area is the expansive private balcony, which offers serene mountain and tree-lined views, along with ample seating to relax and unwind. The renovated kitchen is fully equipped with high-end cookware, tableware, and stainless steel appliances. It features beautiful cabinetry, NEW quartz countertops, and a layout designed for easy meal preparation. Plenty of room and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Overall the unit was spotless upon check in but, the bedroom dressers did need a good dusting and the wall behind the trash can needed scrubbed. Other than that, it was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms spacious. There was plenty of cookware but you had to dig to find the better stuff to use. Dishes were more than plentiful. The biggest negative was that we did not seem to be able to control the temperature. We could not get the unit below 74 degrees, even with the heat turned off. It was not bad enough that we called maintenance, but we do like cooler temps, especially at night. The building, in general was VERY warm. I do highly recommend renting through Summit County Mountain Retreats. When we did reach out, they were quick to respond. ##### Anita P. For that matter, we enjoyed the hot tub down on level 1 on more than one occasion. We took great advantage of the "Ski-in, ski-out" benefit of the Timbers location. Layout was great for multiple couples. Location was tucked away for privacy but just a short walk to all the shoppes. The pictures and descriptions were well represented and did not not disappoint. Check in was simple (download the app), communication was punctual and accurate, the unit was clean and stocked and the location was outstanding. It was a true ski in ski out! The living room rug has really large wrinkles in it. The stove had knob that would not stay on. The hall bath had broken toilet bowl lever arm. The master bedroom on left had a very uncomfortable mattress - this was biggest disappointment since good night sleep is so important.
