We contacted the management company and they sent someone out right away. His name was Russ. Did everything he could do but frig needed replacement. It was over the 4th of July so getting things replaced was a bit hampered. I texted the owner who was able to provide a mini-frig to get us by for the remainder of our trip. Dean Carlson is an amazing host and very responsive to any requests. We will continue to rent properties owner by Dean in the future. May 9, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great Place Perfect place to stay. Everything you need to do is in walking distance. Very close to Duval. Our bungalow was perfect. Didn’t need anything bigger. The only complaint I have is that the outside landscaping could be worked on a little bit. It’s not bad but just a little touch up of things would be great. Our patio could have been updated a bit. The covering over the lounge chairs needed to be replaced. The lounge chairs could have been cleaned as well. For the amount of money we paid, the place should have been cleaned up a little better on the outside. The pool was great but the cushions for the patio table were starting to get dry rotted from the sun. Overall it was a good place to stay. ##### Laurie M. The property was a great little hideaway off the main strip. Like others who have reviewed the property, we completely agree about feeling secluded in your own world, even though you're a minutes walk to everything. The place was clean and check in was super easy. Some areas that could use TLC is the bug situation. It is mentioned on the info board in the room, but they were present from the moment we checked in. I ignored these massive flying ants at first because they just seemed to be in the bathroom, but they eventually ended up in our bed and drove me and my husband nuts. We didn't mention it during the stay because we didn't feel like dealing with the room getting treated. I would highly recommend hiding some ant traps or something. Another issue completely out of anyone's control was the construction happening directly on the other side of us. They respectfully started at 8am everday, but it was definitely noisy. Luckily, we weren't there much. Other than that and the place being a lot smaller than I realized, given the price we paid, our stay was nice and relaxing. For being in the heart of Key West this cozy and quiet rental, just around the corner from Duval street, would seem impossible to find. Speaking of location, it's just a few blocks to the historic seaport & Mallory Square.
