Jun 3, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Lovely stay The cottage is very well equipped, has great views and a comfortable lounge. Despite feeling away from it all you are only a 10 minute drive from Keswick (and also has a good bus service if you want to leave the car behind). We took an amazing bus ride over the Whinlatter pass to Buttermere then on over the Honister pass and up the valley alongside Derwent Water. It is in an ideal spot for walking the Northern Fells and being accessible for the bars and restaurants in Keswick. Be aware that the stairs are steep and the toilet is downstairs. All in all a lovely break at a reasonable price, thank you! ##### Jennie H.
