Clean, Modern, Lake Keowee Retreat Near Clemson

"Amazing lake stay!!! Our family enjoyed every part of our trip. This is one of the cleanest, well stocked vacation home I have stayed at. The lake was perfect. We had a great time swimming off the dock and using the water trampoline. We didn't use the available kayaks, but we brought our own stand up paddle boards and they were very easy to launch. Highly recommend!!!!!"

"Property was exactly as described. Very clean, well organized and appointed. It is obviously a 'family' property and well-taken care of with some homey touches. It is about 20 minutes from a major grocery store, so plan accordingly. The final road approach (about 1/4 mile) is private, one-lane (gravel for the most part). The weather was very nice, but due to the high temps, the lake water was not refreshing (but we can't control the weather! and it has been overwhelming hot everywhere this summer), but the was quiet, some jet-skis and boats, but not an overwhelming amount. The front porch area was lovely for morning coffee and the covered pavilion with comfy seating closer to the water generally had a nice breeze from the water in the afternoon. Overall a great location for peace and quiet which is what we wanted. Any activities - rafting, hiking, shopping, etc. - you will need to travel 25-40 minutes to access. The owner was kind and generous (even when I left behind some items). Definitely A property."

"This is the perfect getaway. It’s right on a quiet lake. We literally sat out on the pack porch our whole trip. We barely used the inside except to cook and sleep. We had a small snag with the hot tub, but the owner did everything they could to make it right. We will definitely be back. The house had everything we needed and more."

"This house was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The lakeside location was ideal for boating and we swam off the dock many a time. We highly highly recommend it!!The house is well set up with a large dining table that many can gather at or the family can eat outside. All parts of the kitchen functioned well for our family to cook and eat in for most meals. We used the grill most of the time so that was wonderful to have. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked and plenty of beds (a whole room leftover) for our us. Comfortable beds with ceiling fans in most bedrooms. View off the back porch was beautiful! And what a huge bonus to have the game room. It rained several times during our stay so that was such a fun way to spend time indoors. The host was very clear and helpful with communication leading up to our stay and everything was perfect while we were there that I did not need to reach out for anything. I know if I did she would have gotten back to me immediately. Thank you! If we return to Lake Keowee, we know exactly where to stay!"
