"The motel was disgusting, paddle of water in the middle of hallway! Elevator didn’t work! Room was dirty. Never again"

"The Meadows Hotel was a delight. This old hotel, circa 1901, was brought back to life about 10 years ago. This is a small "boutique" hotel with 14 rooms .The rooms were quaint, as was the hotel lobby. Modern amenities such as TV, internet, elevator were in place. There is a nice bar and a good restaurant on premises. The entire staff made us feel welcomed. As a plus, I really enjoyed all the old photos of the hotel and town hanging on all the walls."

"We enjoyed a very comfortable two nights; it was quiet, but the motel was far from full. The room was spacious with plenty of surfaces to spread out, and it had plenty of lighting. There were some cleanliness issues, but only with the insides of the fridge and microwave; the bathroom and sheets were clean. It was an economical hotel, and we are very satisfied that we got our money's worth. The staff was very pleasant and helpful."

"The hotel is obviously an older property, however it has been recently updated. The hotel was clean, quiet, and met all of our needs perfectly. We had no problems at the location, it was a good experience. We have family in the area that we travel to see a few times a year. We will continue to use this hotel in years to come."

"The room was reasonably priced and convenient to area restaurants and shopping. We ended up switching rooms as the first room we checked into had dirty towels in the bathroom, a handprint on the bathroom wall, and smear of dirt in the shower. There was also a small piece of ceiling hanging down. The staff was apologetic and gave us a new room, which was far cleaner, however a burn hole in one of the comforters was immediately noticeable and the bathroom counter had a gritty feel to it. The bed was comfortable and it was a peaceful night's sleep."
