The area is quiet and close to many hiking trails although it was pouring while we were there so we didnt try any out. "This hotel was very elegant and classy. Old school with a great friendly staff. They were very helpful in every aspect of the 2 night stay. The bed was amazing and the room beautifully appointed. This hotel is a step back in time with the very colorful history. I highly recommend this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I will defiantly stay again on my next trip to Seattlle. We were able to walk to the pier and market place as well as all the shops. So fun. "
