Disastrous beginnings
First room allocated was awful being located above the external heat pumps which prevented sleep and with no view at all except over the basement walls. I switched to a room overlooking the sea with a balcony for which I had to pay extra. Staff very helpful but hotel not very full and circumstances could have been different. If I hadn't been able to swap rooms I'd have left after first night. Photo on left is highly misleading as you have to pay a higher rate.

The amenities were very pleasant. The parking spots off site are more than enough. The roof top restaurant was open, the breakfast is open buffet. The city tax was mentioned and requested at the end of the stay. I would have preferred to know about it from the start.

More than some 5 star hotels
Definitely a 4 Star plus hotel (imagine - every day in the elevator you have printed an up to date weather forecast. Great breakfast and reasonable in-room minibar prices.

That would tell was comfortable beautiful views but the hotel was very stingy had one extra coffee for breakfast and I had to pay for it

Great views, old school charm
The Egnatia Hotel is a great place to stay. There is parking just next to it, and the first thing you can't help but notice once parked up is the stunning view over Kavala. Wow. Reception is great, and the lift and landings give the hotel a real old school charm. The room is clean with a massive comfy bed. We were worried about having a room next to a busy road, but the hotel has invested in two lots of double glazing, so a great night's sleep was had by all. The walk down to Kavala central was fine for us (c20 mins), but we opted for a cab back. Cabs are plentiful and ours in the evening was less than 5 euros. Just one observation was that they could have done with more staff on their lovely roof terrace during the evening. Definitely recommended!

Hotel location is not the best as its on top of a very steep hill a good walk from the town although the views are stunning my only complaint is having to pay for pool and spa on top of an already expensive stay.

FABULOUS Hotel!
Our stay was amazing. Everything was perfect. And Lia and Elias were so very kind and helpful to us in finding places. Everyone must know that your hotel is located in a marvelous location, close to so very many things. Yes, there is traffic, but that should be overlooked due to the convenience to so many grand stores and ancient finds. And your CoCo Mat bed was FABULOUS, we went to the store and bought one!

Nice place to stay
Egnatia Hotel provides quality accomodation and facilites for a 4 star property. Get a room with a sea view and you won't be disappointed with one of the best vistas looking across Kavala to Thassos. Staff are friendly and the restaurant has great food at a reasonable price.

nice hotel
after a long car drive, we arrived the hotel with a friendly welcome at the information desk, thanks a lot. the breakfast was fresh and delicious. the view of the restaurant was very nice with Kavala in front of the window. only the parking was a little dangerous by a curve on the road. just be carefull..thanks for hospitality. enjoyed our one night stay at Egnatia hotel

Kamer was slecht een muf hok airco precies boven je hoofd bij het slapen wc trok niet goed door volgens het personeel was dit normaal en aan het eind nog 3 euro belasting moeten betalen wat nergens genoemd word

Bra hotell
Hotellet er bra med god service, men litt slitt og trenger noe oppgradering. Madrassene i sengene er veldig harde. Renholdet kunne ha vært noe bedre, men greit. Frokosten var grei, verken mer eller mindre. Hotellet ligger helt oppe, så nydelig utsikt over hele Kavala, men må ha bil for å komme seg rundt. Hotellet har 4+ stjerner, og det syns jeg ikke det er, men det er kanskje for det tilbys SPA.

Konum iyi kondüsyon iyi personel güleryüzlü
Otelin eski olmasına rağmen kondüsyonu iyi ancak odalarda sigara kokusu hakim olması rahatsız edici iki oda tumuştuk bir oda kokuyor bir oda kokmuyordu sonradan yardımcı oldular ve yeni oda gösterdiler ancak gösterilen odalarda sigara kokuyordu.Resepdsiyondaki görevliler yasak olmasına rağmen müşterilerin sigara içtiklerini bu yüzden koku olduğunu söylediler.Kahvaltılar gayet iyi,personel güleryüzlü araba ile şehir merkezine 5 dakikada iniyorsunuz.Ama aracınız yoksa yokuş çpk yorucu olabilir.

Kavala manzarası çok güzel, otel konumu iyi çarşıya gitmek için araçla gerekli. Bölgede gezilecek çok yer var, deniz ürünleri lezzetli hafta sonu tatili iskeçede karnaval oldugu için daha güzel geçti.
